Has anyone come across any good Fukubukuro Mystery or Lucky Bag sales this week? Please share! I went a little crazy on the Tatcha website yesterday.  If you spend $200 right now, you’ll get a mystery bag filled with over $200 worth of products by using the promo code on their site (Surprise22). If you spend over $100, you’ll get a $100 mystery bag. I got the small one last year and got some great items! This year I ordered enough to get the small one and the big one. 😳 (I’m hooked on mystery bags and subscription boxes.) I also ordered the XL Lucky Bag from Beautylish last week. It’ll be my first; I can’t wait to see what’s inside!   

(If you’re unfamiliar with Fukubukuro, it is a Japanese New Year custom in which merchants sell Lucky grab bags filled with mystery items at a substantially reduced price. Some believe that the combined value of the contents in your bag, determine how lucky you’ll be for the rest of the year. The bigger the fortune, the better the luck! Someone from the UK recently posted a great question about legit Korean skincare sites. I’m also curious to know which ones ship to the US that are legit and fast? (Less than Two weeks ship time.) Others have mentioned wish, but they months to arrive sometime, especially now.

This is my first purchase from the Picky Store. (It was technically free. I paid $30 shipping but seems worth it based on individual product reviews!) I’m thrilled with the selection; the items are ALL NEW to me. Being a skincare addict, that’s rare in a mystery box! If you’ve tried any of these products, please let me know which one is your favorite! I’m not sure which one to begin with as I gradually introduce new products into my routine. My 43 year old  skin is between dry to normal and somewhat sensitive. I rarely break out but I have reactions to heavily scented products. If you can relate to any of this, even better!  (BTW, the yummy treat doesn’t count. That was gone immediately.😂) Thanks for your input!❤️

Halloween Box….where do I begin? 🤔 Which item is your fave? 😍

Not good for sensitive skin. In the past, I’ve tried peels that caused a burning sensation, but this one was stronger and continued to irritate my skin after rinsing. I had small red bumps for hours after and no noticable change in skin appearance outside of that. 

I won a free bottle through a Picky drawing in exchange for my review, but the full price is reasonable. 

Lightly scented soft  fragrance but not irritating to my sensitive skin. 

Lightweight, non-greasy or tacky, glides on smoothly. Similar to tatcha’s silk canvas but thicker. 

As much as I love the individually measured syringes, the individual packaging is wasteful.

I received these in a Picky Giveaway and LOVE the light smell (sort of a mild pine), the texture, and the hydration each ampoule brings to my dull skin. Each application provides just enough for one application; no droppers to deal with. 

Smells good, feels nice when applying, removes heavy makeup.

Contains alcohol but hasnt affected my skin. 

This oil is light and silky, yet packed with cleansing and moisturizing power! Just one pump every evening works wonders and feels amazing. 🌟 

To use, I rub one pump in my palms, then massage onto dry skin, clearing away all of my makeup and sunscreen. After a few seconds, I add a splash of warm water and continue massaging as it emulsifies into a smooth, milky layer of bliss. 🧘🏻‍♀️ 

When using oil cleansers, I usually follow up with a foaming cleanser to wipe away oil residue and any remaining makeup. However, I can skip the double cleanse when using this. My skin feels clean, plump and hydrated after rinsing; not oily or sticky. 

After pat drying my face, I follow up with a splash of donginbi red ginseng Essence, then my go to serums and a moisturizer.  I look forward to building my donginbi skincare collection!
