If you could only pick one of the two, mugwort or centella, to use for the rest of your life which one would you pick and why? 🤔 

Just curious about everyone's personal experiences with these ingredients! 😊 

This one is hard but I think I would choose centella because it works so well for redness and also my acne spots.

Centella or mugwort?

I'm trying to take better care of my scalp. 😅 I came across these things called scalp scalers which are essentially exfoliators for the scalp. Anyone have experience with these and have a favorite they would recommend? I was thinking about trying the Innisfree one. 🤔

Underrated skincare products?

On the pricier side so I usually apply with my fingers and that works very well.

This stuff really tightens up my pores and makes my skin look less congested. It smoothes out my skin texture as well. I never had issues with the texture of this product, some people have said it leaves an oily feel. I experienced no irritation with this but I do have very tough skin.

These are kind of pricey and underwhelming perhaps a gimmicky even. They offer temporary soothing and light hydration that doesn&#39;t last. There isn&#39;t a lot of science behind pear in skincare and you even tell just from I&#39;m From advertisements that they had a hard time choosing selling points and defaulted to soothing and hydration. These just felt too simple and I&#39;m not sure if the effects are really due to the pear or the glycerin and hyaluronic acid and panthenol. I would have liked to see more proven skin beneficial Ingredients here.

🌱PEAR SOOTHING PAD
📦 Plastic tub of 60 pads drenched in pear essence + mini tongs
🌼75% Pear leaf extract, citric acid, panthenol, glycerin, 3 forms of hyaluronic acid
Fragrance free and alcohol free (not gonna a bit bummed they don&#39;t smell like pear 😂)

💭:  First of all the packaging design and aesthetic are gorgeous. These are unbleached pure cotton biodegradable pads. I appreciated the inclusion of stowaway tweezers! There is a lot of essence in the jaw so you don&#39;t have to worry about drying out. The pads are the perfect size to fit on my cheeks and forehead without any issues when used as a toner face pack ans they stay on surprisingly well. You can swipe it across your face instead if you prefer or Pat the pads on your skin. 

These felt cooling and soothing and very lightly hydrating. They don&#39;t feel sticky and dry down completely smooth with no residue. I enjoyed these honestly but I wouldn&#39;t purchase because they are a bit pricey and too simple. I think these are best for sensitive skin types due to the simple ingredients which are less likely to cause sensitivity.

Nothing negative to say about this one except since it does foam, it does run out a lot faster than gel or cream cleansers.

 It doesn&#39;t give a super heavy duty clean, so if you&#39;re looking for that this not be the best option! This is also why I recommend this as an AM cleanser for oily skin (because it gives a very gentle cleanse)

💭: I was never a huge fan of foaming cleansers but WOW do I love this! The ingredient list is amazing! They replaced plain old water with  69% centella leaf water which has soothing and calming properties. I use this in the AM &amp; half a pump is more than enough to cover my entire face. It&#39;s so gentle and just glides on your skin and feels like a giant fluffy cloud. It has a very nice slip to it which reduces the friction from your hands rubbing against your skin during cleansing. 

 It wasn&#39;t irritating or stripping and washes off very easily with a few splashes of water! This leaves no residue behind and my skin feels refreshed and hydrated! I usually get a lot of redness after cleansing but this really cut down on the amount of redness I normally get. It&#39;s one of the most gentle cleansers I&#39;ve ever used, but still very effective and my skin felt clean after using but never dry or tight. 

+ Suitable for all skin types! This is a super gentle foaming cleansing that even dry skin types can use. For oily skin types this would make a better AM cleanser than a nighttime one due to how gentle it is

I would to see some more skin benefiting ingredients like antioxidants or other ingredients because it only acts as a moisturizer.

The tube is 50mL like most moisturizers but I feel like this runs out so much faster than my other moisturizers. I do notice I have to use more of this product to cover my entire face.

HG moisturizer. Very lightweight yet keeps my skin feeling moisturized the entire day. It hasn&#39;t clogged my pores or caused any irritation. It all comes in a tube so it is very sanitary! It does contain some a small amount a niacinamide which is a great skin supporting ingredient!

This product has a very oily and gritty texture since it is a suspension. It is quite hard to work with and doesn&#39;t layer well. It also has an unpleasant scent to it as well that is very hard to describe. I only use as spot treatment and noticed that after several uses I started to develop redness and swelling on all the areas I applied this product. Be very cautious of you have sensitive skin. In addition I feel like 23% is too high as anything above 20% has not shown better efficacy but carries a greater risk of irritation.

High concentration of pure ascorbic acid that is stable and won&#39;t cause oxidation issues. It comes in a squeeze tube to protect from both light and air. This formulation contains squalane so it does a bit oiky. This is a suspension NOT a solution which means that the ascorbic acid is in powder from suspended in a solution rather than dissolved in the solution. Therefore this product will fell gritty on application and can pull when layered.

This is a higher concentration product so the results are pretty good! I don&#39;t use all over my face because I discovered I am very sensitive to Vitamin C so I just use as a spot treatment and now mostly use on eczema hyper pigmentation.
