So I have my AM/PM routine, and I’ve been wondering if there’s a recommended interval between routines to make sure that ingredients seep in and you actually benefit from it. 

There are days when I let my skincare products stay on for as much as 12 hours before starting my next routine, but I find this really difficult to time since I juggle work with other activities plus taking care of my furbabies. Plus, the weather can be a real mood-setter for me to jump in for a nice bath and facial cleanse, but I worry that I don’t let products work their magic. 🙈

For context, I live in the Philippines so the weather can go from hot, dry, and humid to wet and somewhat cold - not mentioning some play time with my pets can get, err, a bit messy. But, I don’t have a habit of touching my face even after handwashing! 

Now, the shortest time I’ve kept products on my face is about 5 hours from my AM application and the longest is 12 hours from my PM application. 

Any thoughts or suggestions? I would appreciate if there’s a skin expert out there who can answer.

What is the optimum time for skincare products to stay on your skin before washing off and starting with your next routine?

Does anyone have any idea if you can use Galactomyces and Vitamin C serum together?

I’m planning to add Galactomyces Essence in my routine - for the first time. I’ve been researching, but couldn’t find anything about combining these 2 ingredients. I’m using Andalou Turmeric+C serum and eyeing Cosrx Galactomyces Essence.

If anyone can also share their experience with Galactomyces, I would appreciate it. :)

Galactomyces and Vitamin C

Any of you experienced strawberry legs and how do you deal with it? I exfoliate 24 hours before and 48 hours after, but it doesn’t seem to really help. Any recos other than laser?

Perhaps, one downside to this is its amount which is just at 30ml. It lasts for a month for once daily application on my face and neck compared to a CosRX product or Derma E which lasts for months. Another thing would be the weight of the product on my skin even if it should be technically light as it is a serum.

I normally don’t trust products that claim effects visible in x number of days. This doesn’t have the same claims, but it does what it says on the label - Brightening, and I can’t describe my surprise on how fast it worked for me. Definitely, a must-have! I’m still wondering how this is underrated.

I hope they can sell a bigger bottle of this because the only available size is 125ml.

When I was looking for a witch hazel toner, I tried the 2 best reviewed brands. But, my experience was not the same. I had a purge phase 2 weeks in use, and it made me quit the bandwagon and immediately scout for a new witch hazel toner. I found this in a Watsons store. So, yes it is a drug-store product with a very cheap price. But, I love it! This alcohol-free toner with witch hazel extract is gentle on the skin, super hydrating, and has a light, clean scent.

It takes almost an hour for the product to be fully absorbed so somehow it gives you a shine but only for a limited time. To be clear, it doesn’t make your skin oily 😊

I love how hydrating and moisturizing this is without a residue-feel. It helps cool my skin especially when it’s hot. And, I’m happy to have tried this on my lips. Baby-smooth puckers 💋

Nothing bad, but what might be an issue for others is that the product is fluid - still not bad for me. 😊

This is perfect! Pure 100% Centella, fragrance-free, cruelty-free, and processed only with the highest standard in mind. Super gentle on the skin that I almost thought it would take 3-6 months before I see its magic, but ta-da, 1 month was it all it took for me to see that my skin is visibly younger! 😊

It can be a little drying sometimes especially when you skip hydration. When you compare the price with other products, it’s a little pricey and will only last you 1-1.25 months. 

I think ladies can agree with me that during our hormonal days, our skin is really different. Papules can trouble me, and surprisingly, since I started using this ampoule, I didn’t have to deal with it alongside PMS! I also love its scent on my face and how it really helps with my oily T-Zone.
