I have only recently started a skin care routine for my aging skin. The areas of concern are hyperpigmentation and fine lines/wrinkles/crows feet. My approach is six fold...Niacinamide, SPF/PA+++, hydrating creams, exfoliation, masks and light therapy. Niacinamide (I recommend Super Pure by Glossier and Niacinamide toner by Good Molecules.) Low dose retinoids dried out and ate away patches of my skin. I tend to avoid those. Very slowly and surely I noticed a reduction in my hyperpigmentation with niacinamide but only with routine skin care. SPF (rOc) and PA+++ (CosRx) work at creating a barrier so my skin isn't exposed to UV rays and if it is the ascorbic acid (The Ordinary) is supposed to prevent melatonin from forming dark patches. I always try to purchase makeup, primer (Murad) and lip stick or gloss with SPF or PA+++. I hear too many horror stories of skin cancer in forgotten areas (lips/ears) plus why not have two layers to protect yourself? It's safe and effective. My combination skin tends to get dry in the forehead, cheek and ear area. So I always use a hydrating serum like Skin 1004's Madascar Centella brand and Korres has an absolutely fabulous line of hydrating foam cleansers and wild rose scented creams. My go to masks are Go Pure's Enzyme mask and Kora Organics Turmeric Brightening & Exfoilating mask. The enzyme mask doesn't have an exfoliation component so once I am ready to remove it I add dots of their exfoilator on my face and then lightly apply my silicone Flawless brush all over in a circular motion to loosen up those dead skin cells. Go Pure's VIP page is a joke (see my enzyme mask review for details) so I would stay far away from that. For eye masks I like Pacifica collagen hydrating and Pixi. A really neat item are the Dieux reusable eye patches. Apply some Estee Lauder eye serum and put these on immediately after. When they start of slide around and cause a gap in the middle take them off and pat the remaining serum lightly into those under eye lines. They work wonders on those fine lines. I usually don't support celebrity based products but the Kora line by Miranda Kerr the turmeric mask in particular is really a holy grail product for me. I got it as a sample and will purchase a full size soon. It has a cool tingling sensation when first applied and rose quartz crystals exfoliate as you lightly scrub and wash it away. I tried 3 light therapy masks and the best so far is Qure Pro. You can manage settings for hyperpigmentation or acne based on quadrants they mapped out on on a schematic of a human face in their app. So if you want to do an acne setting on your t zone and hyperpigmentation on your cheeks and forehead you are able to. At some point I want to get a Dr Dennis Gross mask (I have his eye light therapy goggles for crows feet) but the price is significantly higher and I need to budget to purchase one. They offer a 15% discount and points with purchase as part of their VIP program but you need to register and link social media to build those up.
Using all these products create a high cell turnover rate and I always purge. I cleanse, tone, do my Qure mask and put a CosRx pimple patch on the affected area and it is gone within hours.
That's really all I can think of now but if I have other suggestions I will provide an update.

...Life Changing Products...

I just happened across this brand while  scrolling on Facebook. The concept in my opinion is ingenious apply collagen and take a supplement. Basically fight aging internally and externally at the same time. And without invasive procedures. But I honestly can't afford their program. It's so very expensive and you need to subscribe or purchase in bulk (they recommend) to get it. Additionally, I don't want to commit to just one brand since there are so many excellent one's available at a fraction of the cost. What are your thought? Concerns? I value your opinions.

Causes a sensitivity to the sun so a sunscreen is recommended on the packaging.

Easily spreadable allowing for even coverage.
Attractively packaged in a reflective like bottle. Serum is clear and it comes with a stopper. Packaging is distinctive to the brand.
This is my preferred AHA/BHA because The Ordinary (lactic acid) tends to make my skin itch. 

I didn&#39;t notice any change in the wrinkles, crows feet, puffiness &amp; dark circles I started out with.

It&#39;s lightweight with a thin, almost runny consistency with a tan shimmery tint. At $36 it has a mid price range. I purchased my jar online at Ulta and earned points toward free merchandise. The manufacturer also gives away free product (last time I looked it was a primer) from time to time. They also have a 15% off coupon for your first purchase.

It&#39;s serum like consistency doesn&#39;t allow for concealer-like coverage.

It protects and moisturizes my skin without leaving a heavy sunscreen-like layer on my face. It gives a dewy appearance.

For those of us with hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles &amp; other age related concerns this item doesn&#39;t really do anything. 
I didn&#39;t really care for it&#39;s jelly like consistency. I prefer a cream based overnight mask like Drmtlgy&#39;s Peptide Cream.

This product is good for those who are starting a skincare routine early to protect their skin from aging.

I wash my hands a lot since Covid &amp; as a result my cuticles are suffering for it. So I bought this brand and apply it diligently every night. It has a pleasing light lemony scent &amp; is the consistency of lip balm. You could probably even use it for that. It isn&#39;t expensive &amp; can be found at local retail stores.
