Beta glucan is an ingredient similar to hyaluronic acid that provides the skin with deep hydration. Beta glucan is known to be a powerful humectant that soothes and strengthens the skin's moisture barrier, boosts skin barrier function, reduce irritation, redness and inflammation. 

Beta glucan as an ingredient is high in antioxidant, which makes it effective in protecting the skin against oxidative stress that causes pre mature aging.
