Hi! I have been using the CeraVe foaming cleanser, however I have recently found out that it is not cruelty free  :( . I use it because of how cheap it is, and because of its benefits (ie. ceramides etc). Does any of you have any suggestions for a cleanser like the CeraVe one, that is cruelty free??

Hi, I am looking for a sunscreen mist, that can be applied over make-up. Preferably it would be under £/$20. I have found a few and wondered if anyone had tried them, and how did they like them. Any other suggestions not included would be great too ☺️.

Hi, I want to find a good anti-pollution/blue light filter serum/toner/treatment. I know antioxidants are good for this. Does anyone have any good recommendations? Preferably it would include things like vitamin C, algae oil etc. Thanks

I have incredibly dry lips, and am literally giving up hope on them. Every single winter (and often summer too) my lips become so dry and crack, even with lipbalm. It gets to the point I cannot smile any longer due to the fact that it hurts so much when I do, and I'm putting myself at risk for them tearing more. I end up with bloody tears across my lips, which is not very nice 😂.

This year I decided enough was enough, and I was going to leave winter without bleeding lips. It have gotten to the point where I am reapplying lipbalm literally every time the balm from the previous application has fully sunken in. I have been getting up every few hours in the night to reapply heavy amounts. Despite all of my effort, lo and behold, my lips have still somehow gotten to the point where they are torn again, I suspect it happened whilst I was sleeping. I do not know what to do.

I do not live in a particularly cold country (I live in the UK), however I am chronically dehydrated and have been for some time. Unfortunately I cannot change that at this point, due to not being able to access medical help unless you are dying, because COVID-19 is running wild in my country and our health service is completely overwhelmed (it has gotten to the point where they are cancelling urgent surgery for cancer patients)

Does anyone have any suggestions for helping me manage this? For reference, I have currently been using a variety of Vaseline, carmex and Nivea lipbalms. Also, the rest of my skin is oily, so it confuses me why my lips are so dry 😂

My skin right now is incredibly dry and dehydrated aa a result of tretinoin use. Most creams aren't really cutting it in terms of moisture, especially because I have a limited range of options since I prefer cruelty free (and hopefully plastic free) skincare. I love a brand called Face Theory, and I found one of their creams which was a body cream. It has great ingredients for use on the skin, no fragrance or essential oils, and no ingredients that are particularly comedogenic. (It is called the Cera-B body cream and is not on Picky). It looks great for the dry skin, since body creams are generally richer than face creams. However, everywhere I look it tells me not to buy body creams for the face, without any proper reasons (mostly just fragrance and being comedogenic - which the cream is neither). Is it actually so bad using this cream on my face??

Literally nothing - it&#39;s an amazing product

Cleared up my horrendous acne within literally a week. It also has no fragrance.

A little pricey for me,  but it was so worth it.

My skin was going through a really tough time. I had breakouts all over my face, as well as wounds from picking. This cleared my skin in less than a week, and did not make my skin feel tight after using, unlike every other cleanser I have ever tried.

It does have fragrance, which I don&#39;t really like. However, I do not get irritated by it so it&#39;s ok

The only moisturiser that keeps my skin in check. Very soothing and completely gets rid of the dry patches on my skin - without making my oily face all sticky and disgusting

Very simple ingredients, cheap and works well. Great since I hate the feel of suncream, and this is great as an alternative, as well as having algae oil and vitamin E to protect against pollution.

Smells a bit like sunscreen, and only has SPF 30

A really great moisturiser for its price. Nothing particularly special, but it works.
