First Impressions of This Sunscreen

My skin is picky AND inconsistent… so I’m trying to build a smarter routine.
I’m currently testing which steps genuinely help and which ones just make things worse.

Here’s what I think my skin needs,but I’m not 100% sure yet:
• A very gentle cleanser
• Lightweight hydration
• A simple moisturizer
• Occasional actives (only when my skin is stable)
• Barrier support at night

For anyone with oily/sensitive skin:
Which steps ended up being the most important for you?
And which steps were actually unnecessary?
I want to avoid overdoing it.

Trying to Figure Out What My Picky Skin Actually Wants.

Might feel slightly dry for very dry skin types

I’ve been using the Anua Heartleaf Cleansing Foam for a while, and it has been a really gentle but effective cleanser for my skin. The texture is soft and foamy, and a small amount goes a long way. It cleans my face well without making it feel tight or stripped, which I really appreciate.

The Heartleaf ingredient helps calm redness and irritation, and I noticed my skin looks more even and less inflamed after consistent use. It’s great for acne-prone or sensitive skin because it doesn’t cause breakouts or irritation.

The only thing is that if your skin is very dry, you might need a good hydrating toner afterward ,but overall it’s a solid cleanser I enjoy using.

Might not be moisturizing enough alone for very dry skin

The Anua Daily Relief Lotion has become one of my favorite lightweight moisturizers. It absorbs quickly and gives a soft, hydrated finish without feeling greasy or heavy. The Heartleaf extract is really soothing , it helps calm irritation, redness, and small breakouts, especially on days when my skin feels sensitive.

Even though it’s lightweight, it still gives enough moisture to keep my skin comfortable throughout the day. It layers well under sunscreen and makeup, and it never pills. I like that it doesn’t have a strong scent and feels very gentle on the skin.

If you prefer light, calming lotions that won’t clog pores, this one is a great choice.

Not super hydrating if you prefer a dewy finish

The TIRTIR Makeup Fixer has become one of my favorite setting sprays because it really helps makeup last longer without feeling heavy. The mist is super fine and covers the face evenly, so it doesn’t leave water spots or mess up your foundation.

After spraying, it gives a soft, natural finish,not overly matte or overly dewy. It keeps my makeup in place through humidity, sweating, or long days outside. I also love that it feels lightweight and refreshing on the skin.

It doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts, and it helps prevent my makeup from separating around the nose or T-zone.
