What is the one product you would want your parents to use? Why?

if you could buy one product for your mum and dad (1 each). what would it be?

Based on my understanding, retinol products are regulated in Canada. So you can only get them via prescription through a dermatologist.

Are there any retinol products that can be bought in Canada without prescription? 
I have never used retinol but I want to try it (starting with small doses).

Unfortunately I don’t have access to a dermatologist/physician currently. 

Any help/suggestion is much appreciated :)

Recently, I have noticed that not a lot of people know about this but you need spf for your lips too !! Some lipsticks/lipgloss have spf in them. 
I have been reading more about this and I wanted to remind people to take care of their lips too !! 

So when you are applying sunscreen don’t forget about your lips

The price is a little on the expensive side. It is more expensive than ofher similar products in the market.

I found this at my local supermarket and saw it everywhere - at local drug stores, TV adverts, magazine ads. 
I decided to try it. It is on the higher side in terms of pricing but a little goes a long way. 
I have been using this cream for 3 weeks now and honestly, I see a significant difference. I have incorporated it into my PM routine. 
I feel my skin is more plump, feels more hydrated, looks healthier. My fine lines and wrinkles are also less prominent. 
I would recommend getting a sample and test it before purchasing it.

A little more expensive than similarly priced products.

I bought this cream at the local superstore. I have tried other products from the olay regenerist range. 

It is super creamy and very smooth. A little goes a long way. I used it once daily for 2 weeks and noticed significant improvement in my skin. 

My skin felt smoother, plumper and had visibly reduces fine lines. 

There are two veesions of this product. There is one with fragrance and one without fragarance. I tried both versions and I have not noticed a significant difference between the efficacy of the two versions. 

This is easily available in most supermarkets and drug stores. 

I would recommend this to everyone. If you are sensitive to fragarances, try the fragarance free version.

This garnier hyalu-Melon wash is easily available at most supermarkers. 

It is reasonably priced and a great product. 

It is an effective product and left my skin soft. I like that it does not dehydrate my skin or leave it feeling tight. I did not feel like my skin was stripped off its natural oils.

- small packaging : Although a little goes a long way, I wish it came in larger packaging so I would not need to repurchase it often. 


This product is the badger of skincare !! 
This balm is so gentle but works incredibly hard to melt all the makeup and dirt off your face. 
Infact it is so incredible that you dont need to scrub your face!! 
It does not make the skin dry or congested. 
It contains plant oils that ensure that your face gets clean but does not become dry. The antioxidants from olive oil and green tea further reduce inflammation and make your skin supple 🥰

It has become my go to cleanser ! Thank you Picky for the opportunity to review it. 

Nothing so far. I will continue to use this product and update this review if anything changes.

I have only had this ampoule for a few days but I couldn’t wait to share about it !! 

Shown here is the Madagascar Centella ampoule that is made from 100% cent Ella extract (untouched from Madagascar). 

After just a few days, I have noticed 
- smoother skin 
- clearer looking skin 
- supple skin 

Bonus: This ampoule is so aesthetically designed that I like to display it in prime location on my dresser. 

I will continue using it and provide another update soon.
