Is it possible that niacinamide ingredient makes my skin dry?  I have heard about all these great benefits of this ingredient, especially that it is great for acne- prone skin types.  I noticed while using niacinamide products, such as toners or essences- I will notice breakouts. My face will usually feel tighter, and while wearing foundation- my face will have less natural oil.  I do not like that, as I prefer the dewy look.  Is it possible that this ingredient is breaking me out?  I feel like they are putting it in so many products now!!

I heard from so many people about Sunday Riley products- how effective and amazing they are!  I finally had a chance to try out their cult favorite- Good Genes.  This product was so perfect for me- it’s really all I needed to complete my skincare routine.  I always get excited about using a gentle exfoliator, and unfortunately most end up breaking me out, causing me to give up using exfoliants altogether.  I recently claimed- I do not need exfoliants for my skin to look good, as my skin looks great with no acne or any major issues.  Good Genes proved me wrong.

 While using it 1-2 x a week- I noticed my skin feeling baby smooth (like never before), soft to the touch and radiant.  I noticed it was easier to smear moisturizer on my face, and I did not need to use as much of it.  This exfoliating serum is so unlike others- it feels like putting lotion on your face! After using, my face is hydrated and glowing- but not in a greasy way.  I thought the aroma was very refreshing like ginger, but it is a lemongrass scent. I am looking forward to the other wonderful benefits this product has to offer, such as brightening the appearance of dark spots, and reducing the look of lines and wrinkles.  I used this product many times and I am confident to say it does not break out my skin!  I will be re-purchasing this product. I am addicted to it as much as my Lancome products!

After every use, I noticed little bumps on my forehead! I kept using this for 3 weeks, and as soon as I stopped- my forehead looked clear and smooth.  I have combination skin- so maybe it was too moisturizing to leave it overnight on top of my cream.  Thankfully it was just small bumps on my forehead, and not the whole face!d the scent and the jelly texture of it.  The packaging is very cute and presentable.

-It smells wonderful and I love the cooling jelly affect it has when you put it on
-I love that it comes with AHA’s- I wanted to to incorporate gentle exfoliants into my routine. (I have a history of bad breakouts with exfoliants in the past.)
- My pores did look a little more refined on my cheeks, but it didn’t work out for me .😣

I ordered this mini size for $15 first,  before I would purchase the bigger bottle for $48.  But I will not be purchasing the bigger bottle- this product is not right for my combination&#47;oily skin type.

I really wanted to love this product due to all the hype..Unfortunately, it made me break out on my chin&#47; jaw 😩😌. I did read some reviews, and it seems like it happened to some other folks as well..
🍋 It doesn’t have a fragrance, although it looks like it would smell yummy!
🍋 It made my skin look matte upon application, I didn’t really see the glow.
🍋 it is pretty moisturizing; my face is already well moisturized, as maybe that’s why I didn’t see any results.
🍋 I don’t notice brightening effects, maybe if used daily? It’s considered a mask so I wouldn’t want to use it daily.
🍋 So expensive! It broke me out on the 2nd day, not my fav.. but you might have a different experience! It broke out my husband too.

 This toner is a moisturizing water-type that soothes and mildly exfoliates my skin.  It is very gentle and great for sensitive skin-types, and it could be used daily.  Since I have dry skin, and I also use other exfoliating products, I err on the side of caution and only use it 1-2 x a week. 

This toner has milder properties of exfoliation compared to AHAs and BHAs.  It will still smoothe and improve your skin texture.  I especially recommend this for anyone with great sensitivity to chemical exfoliators.

I love that this sunscreen is safe for acne-prone skin. I usually struggle finding a sunscreen that does not dry me out or cause breakouts! It is a chemical sunscreen, so it absorbs into the skin well and goes on smoothly without leaving a white cast. This sunscreen includes Cica as one of the main ingredients- known as a fountain of youth for it’s anti-aging properties.  The bamboo water is also known as an aggressive acne treatment.  I love the floral light smell of this product, it does not smell or feel like a sunscreen.  At first, I thought of this as a lotion with added SPF 50, but in South Korea they call a sun cream a sunscreen!  This sunscreen leaves my face with a natural glowy look which I love!
