Hey everyone! I’d really like to add a product with retinol to my nighttime skincare routine but really don’t know where to start. What products would you recommend for a retinol newbie? FYI: I have dry skin but it’s not at all sensitive, if that helps. Thank you in advance!

There isn’t really anything negative about this product.

This is a pretty good eye solution. It helps brighten my dark under eye circles and depuffs my eye bags. I like that it absorbs quickly and does not leave behind a sticky residue. I don’t know that I’ll repurchase when I run out because there are a lot of other eye creams I’d like to try. It’s super affordable!

This is a great Hyaluronic acid serum. It is thin and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my face and I don’t have to wait long before I can apply my other serums and moisturizer. It only takes a few drops to cover and entire face and neck. I also like to put a little on my lips at night before bed and when I wake up the are plump and hydrated. It’s super affordable, like all The Ordinary products. Highly recommend!

There’s nothing negative about this product unless you are someone who’s looking for a CC cream with sheer to light coverage because this baby is full coverage.

This is my favorite CC cream, although it’s not really a CC cream. It’s more like a medium to full coverage foundation with added skincare ingredients and SPF. I love all the versions of this CC cream but the Illumination version is my favorite. Inhave dry skin so I love anything that can give my skin a healthy glow and this does just that. I love the packaging with a pump. I have repurchased this many times and will continue to do so. 

There was nothing bad about this cleanser. It is one of my all time favorite cleansers.

I absolutely love this cleanser by IT Cosmetics. I love how it suds up as I massage it onto my face. It has a very pleasant but subtle citrus scent that is invigorating in the morning. It removes makeup really well, even waterproof mascara. I also love how it does not leave my skin with the squeaky too clean, tight feeling. I’m almost finished with my tube and I will definitely be repurchasing this. I highly recommend this cleanser for anyone looking for a cleanser that won’t dry your skin out.

The only negative about this cleanser is that it seemed like half of the tube was filled with air so I ran out of it in just a couple weeks.

I am a big fan of The Ordinary and all of their products that I’ve tried, this cleanser is no exception. It contains squalane, which my dry skin tends to love. It has an interesting texture, it starts as a liquid and as you rub it between your fingers it turns into an oil. Since it is oily it removes makeup very well. It does a great job of cleansing my face and leaving it feeling soft and clean. I just finished mine and would consider repurchasing it but there are a few other cleansers I’d like to try first.
