I’ve been struggling with large pores, especially around my nose and cheeks. I know you can’t technically shrink them, but I’m looking for skincare products or routines that have actually helped minimize their appearance.

I’ve tried a few things like clay masks and salicylic acid, but I’m not sure what’s really making a difference.

BUT—here’s what to keep in mind:

❗ It’s a bit hard to blend. The peachy tone-up formula doesn’t melt into the skin immediately, so you’ll need to take your time to spread it evenly, or it might look patchy.

Also, if you live in a humid climate, this may not hold up well. I noticed my skin got very oily and greasy after a few hours, especially around my T-zone. It’s not ideal for oily or combo skin in hot, sticky weather.

Let’s talk real about this sunscreen. First off, the texture is creamy and it has a light scent—not fragrance-free, but nothing too strong or irritating. I actually found the scent refreshing.

It has a cooling effect when applied, which feels really nice, especially in hot weather. It gives your skin a brightened, dewy look, and the SPF 50+ / PA++++ protection is solid. Love that part!

Best for normal to dry skin in cooler climates. If you’re oily or live somewhere hot and humid, just be prepared to blot or powder during the day.


	•	A bit thick when layering – if you apply too much, it can feel slightly heavy.

	•	Super hydrating – my lips feel soft and moisturized for hours.
	•	Doesn’t cause chapping – unlike some other “hydrating” balms that dry me out later, this actually keeps my lips calm.
	•	No scent – perfect if you’re sensitive to fragrance or just prefer clean, simple formulas.
	•	Long-lasting – I don’t have to reapply constantly, even in dry or cold weather.

What’s Not So Great:
	•	Might feel too thick for very fine or thin hair (use sparingly)
	•	Pump bottle can sometimes dispense too much product
	•	Not the cheapest for a local serum (but it performs like a premium one)


Texture & Feel:
Unove’s serum has a thicker-than-usual consistency for a hair serum, which might surprise you at first—but it spreads smoothly and melts into the strands without feeling greasy. It’s rich, but somehow lightweight once applied, making it perfect for daily use without weighing your hair down.

Finish on Hair:
One of the best things? It doesn’t leave that oily film some serums do. You get that silky, smoothed-down look without the limp, coated feel. Your hair stays bouncy and touchable, not slick.

Scent:
The floral scent is stunning—clean, fresh, and feminine. It lingers subtly in your hair, which gives you that “just-stepped-out-of-the-salon” feeling, without being overpowering or perfumey.

Main Benefits:
	•	Tames frizz and smooths flyaways
	•	Adds natural shine without greasiness
	•	Great for heat protection before styling
	•	Works well on both damp and dry hair
	•	Thick texture gives control during application (not watery or runny)

What I didn’t love:
	•	Not enough on its own – For really dry days, I definitely need a thicker cream after it. It’s a great base, but not the main act if you’re super dehydrated.
	•	Packaging – It’s simple and sleek, but I wish the opening was more controlled. It’s easy to pour out too much.

Final thoughts:
If you’re looking for a hydrating toner that’s gentle, fragrance-free, and great for layering—this one’s a winner. Just don’t expect it to do all the heavy lifting for dry skin by itself.

What I love:
	•	Hydration boost – This toner is packed with hyaluronic acid, and my dry skin drinks it up. It gives that instant plump, juicy feel right after applying.
	•	Gentle formula – No fragrance, no irritation, no drama. My sensitive skin approves.
	•	Lightweight but effective – It has a slightly viscous texture but still sinks in without leaving any heavy or sticky residue.
	•	Pairs well with other products – No pilling or weird reactions, even under serums and moisturizers. 🫶🏻

Requires a dry face: You have to apply this to completely dry skin. This can be a bit of a hassle if you want to use it in the shower or right after washing your face.
