The Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum from Skin1004 has, as its name suggests, a light, serum-type feel and absorbs easily into the skin. It's non-nano formula blocks UV rays while hydrating the skin (which is PERFECT for the summer time ☀️).

Their star ingredient, Hyalu-Cica, is their unique formula consisting of Centella Asiatica Extract and Hyaluronic Acid to simultaneously heal and hydrate skin.

I used this for a couple of weeks and experienced the glowiest skin I've ever seen with sun protection. Usually there is the compromise of either hydrated skin with a shiny finish or a natural finish with a dry feeling but with this, I don't have to choose. Here are my biggest wins for this product:

✨ Absolutely NO white cast when blended in
✨ Leaves a natural glowy finish
✨ Keeps skin feeling hydrated throughout the day
✨ Keeps my skin cool even in the hot sun

Take 1-2 Pumps and apply twice a week to start. Increase usage as your skin adjusts to using a retinal.

✨ Pro-Tip!
Don't overuse this or any retinal as it can create issues such as dryness, irritation, and overall damaging of the skin's barrier. This product is recommended for usage at night.

💁🏽‍♀️ Final Thoughts
This cream is the perfect texture and consistency for my skin. It goes on buttery-smooth and gives my skin a bouncy feel. The morning after, it did not rub off and made my skin feel the softest I've felt in a long time. I was tempted to use it again the next time but am painfully aware of the effects of overexfoliation. I cannot wait to repurchase this once it runs out. It is a bit pricey at $33 USD, but Wishtrend consistently has great deals and can easily make this accessible to those on a budget.

The HM+Barrier line from @talithakoum_official's is physically and visually the future of body care. Absolutely STUNNING packaging aside, these two products feel like I have my life together. Let's get into them:

🌼 HM+BarrierTM Body Balm ~
This body balm is a double agent playing the role of a moisturizer and a warm hug. Formulated with their patent pending HM+Barrier formula, Nilotica Shea Butter, Evening Primrose Oil, Olive Oil, and Jojoba Oil, you can see why this feels so great on the skin.

The texture starts off a little on the thin side but quickly transforms into an incredibly moisturizing balm that surprisingly does not feel that oily. The scent is the same as the cleanser except that this one does linger throughout the day. I am not a huge fan of floral/plant like scents in general so I would love to see this reformulated with perhaps another scent in the future, but it works so well that I don't mind it.

Talitha Koum is now on my radar as one of the most aesthetically pleasing and thoughtful brands on the market. I hope to be able to try more of their products in the future as I see they have three more items in their line-up that I want to get my hands on.

✨ I don’t think anyone is as excited as I am to talk about sheet masks 😂

@huecalm.official brings to us probably one of the best fitting and feeling sheet masks this side of the Mason Dixon. 

The Birch Hydrating Mask is made from a water-infused soft jelly sheet to help retain and deliver hydration deep into the skin. Packed with birch sap, stonecrop extract, and a water-drawing complex (three types of hyaluronic acid), this trio aids in repairing the skin’s barrier.

This mask fits incredibly well. As someone who has tried more than I can remember, it’s harder than you might think to find a great fitting mask. Not only is the fit amazing, the essence is what really steals the show. My skin looked and felt super soft and hydrated after taking it off and patting the remainder in. I would DEFINITELY recommend this sheet mask for anyone looking to add a major boost of hydration to their skin. 

💙 What I Would Change:
○ The lamp is very flimsy and took long to cure the nails. It also comes with a USB female plug but no actual wall adapter. For the quality of the lamp, a wall adapter should definitely be included.
○ The strips are very square in shape and do not cover the sides of the nails well. There were lots of gaps for my true nail sizing, so I ended up moving up to larger sizes just to get the sides fully covered which left few options once I got to my thumb. In the site photos, even the models have large portions of the sides uncovered. These strips being shaped closer to an actual nail would help tremendously.
○ The shaping takes much longer than just painting them. I can see this being more for someone who does not feel comfortable painting their own nails.

☀️ Did you know that @touchinsolus does more than skincare?? Well, neither did I! ☁️

I was very excited to try out Touch In Sol's new semi-cured gel nail strips because ya girl loves doing her own nails. Sold separately, I was sent their UV gel lamp to cure the gel after applying. Let's get into my take on these!

I selected the colors 💛 Citrus Butter Cream 💛 and 💙 Blue Wave 💙 out of the 12 options on the site. They arrived exactly the way they appeared on the site which I loved. Due to the opaque designs I chose, the bottoms were white but did not look obvious when filing down or while wearing. Now let's get into what I liked and would change!

💛 The Good:
○ These are semi-cured gel strips which adhere easily to the nails with little prep work. I did buff the surface and dehydrate my nails to help them stay on longer.
○ I did not experience any chipping or breaking.
○ These give off the look of professionally polished gel nails.

💙 What I Would Change:

I love the concept of these and how they can really give someone who wants gel nails without the hassle salon quality color. I would not repurchase these because I find it much easier to just paint with gel polish and the sizing was not great.
