Hi guys,
A question to those who have used products with kombucha such as the ones tagged below, - how "slimy"/gooey were they? Asking because I want to try some kombucha toner/essence/ampoule, but not sure if they're meant more for a dry skin. If these products are more on the viscous side and resemble snail mucin, the chances are my oily skin wouldn't absorb them, so looking for info! Thanks!

A question to those of you who are advanced in using peptides: which is better? I know that they're both signal peptides with Matrixyl 3000 being used more for wrinkles and copper peptide for a broader range of skin concerns including skin regeneration and healing, but which one is more effective in what they claim? Also, can they be used together? Can either of them be used with EGF peptides?

There's nothing not to like this product for.

I got a mini of this product just to explore one of my favourite brands further, and it didn't disappoint me. Such an elegant, simple formulation!

🗨 My experience:

Gel-like liquid with no fragrance, absorbs well. I'm autistic about the textures and how the products feel on my skin, so it's a big factor for me that this ampoule feels very light and not sticky. It's soothing and nice to use in the evening, pairs well with the rest of my products. 

As to pore minimizing claim, I can't say that my pores are smaller as a result of using this ampoule (retinol and niacinamide work best for this concern). Still, it's a nice basic care product, which I'd repurchase.

As you can see, a bunch of ingredients that work towards brightening, smoothing textured skin, and strenghtening skin barrier.

🗨 My experience:

I like this serum for its universality, - it's good to have a product that performs several functions. 

Its watery-gel consistency is lightweight, absorbs relatively quickly. I noticed that it turns into a white foam when patted into the skin, - no idea why, but it disappears when the serum is absorbed.

My skin feels comfortable with this product, as if there's nothing applied. However, my face looks too "glowy". Glowy skin looks good if it's already flawless; my oily skin with blemishes doesn't need that kind of "highlighting". 

📍 The actual feel of this scrub was off-putting, like sand rubbed against the skin. I couldn't massage it for 60 seconds (!) as the packaging suggests. I didn't have this feeling with other scrubs in the past, so my husband is finishing this one off.

🔎 My thoughts: before I switched to chemical exfoliation, I used to exfoliate twice weekly with different kinds of scrubs, and this one was the gentlest option. Its texture is creamy, it's not harsh at all and didn't irritate my skin.

Not necessarily bad, but to keep in mind: since the shampoo is quite nourishing, it might make otherwise normal hair "heavy". Normally, I wash my hair twice a week; while using this shampoo, my hair requires three washes weekly. 

🔎Was looking for a shampoo that would reduce hair fall and this is it: I noticed the effects right after the 2nd use. 

👩🏻 For reference, I have a long hair and two main concerns: scalp itchiness and hair loss. This shampoo helps with hair loss but doesn't do anything to make my scalp less itchy, just so you know. Perhaps, this should be addressed by a separate product.

🌱 As for the ingredients, they make sense: peptides nourish and strengthen the hair, salicylic acid exfoliates dead cells. Cica is supposed to calm and soothe the scalp, but like I mentioned above, it's not enough really since my scalp remains itchy.

🫧 The feel of the shampoo is really nice, a bit cooling thanks to mint extract. I need only two pumps to wash all my hair, and it lathers perfectly, so it's economical as well. 

❌ Leaves a residue behind, like a trace of a dried glue can be seen on those skin patches it has been applied to. 

🏆Blemish care treatment with niacinamide and AHA/BHA.

💬 My experience:

The treatment really works, - it's a good combination of ingredients which target blemishes and those which calm and heal the skin, such as centella and green tea. I had a post pimple red mark on my cheek which just wouldn't heal. I applied the spot treatment there for 5 days in a row, and the mark was gone. 

As to the feel, my skin liked it, too: cooling sensation, fast absorption, and no stickiness. 

I will buy it again, because it works for me as a SPOT treatment here and there (I only have occassional blemishes, no acne), so it's handy to have.
