I have combo skin type. The type that if I hydrate too much my pores clog and I get whiteheads. Lately I feel that I over exfoliated so I had some breakouts. Dont know if I damaged my skin barrier so I took a step back and do only the basics. I was thinking about trying this product but I have some concerns.
First of, is it gonna clog my pores?
And secondly, since I have never tried snail on my skincare, if my skin barrier is damaged, will it react baddly to it?
Give me your thoughts.

How do you feel about Cosrx Snail 96 mucin power essense?

Ok, so I have been using retinol for a while with no irritation. The last two weeks Ive noticed some itchiness on my scalp. I usualy oil my scalp once a week but Ive switched to the ordinary hyaluronic acid hair serum which probably isnt doing much on my head. Thats probably the reason for the itch but I was wondering, could the retinol be the reason? I mean, does retinol irritation occur only on the skin you place it? Or could my scalp for instance which is the skin next door be affected as well?

Do you use Retinol in the summer? In my City we usualy have heatwaves and the sun is really strong. Im thinking about dropping retinol for the summer so my face can also rest. What do you think?

Ok, so I'm kind of combination acne prone skin with pores that clog easily. I usualy have both blackheads and whiteheads. I'm 25, work shifts (nights too) which means I have a lot of sleepless nights and I also have a pretty much hectic life. I did a facial last November and developed whiteheads in a couple of months which frustruted me a lot. My best friend who is an aesthetician told me that i use too much stuff. She helped me make my skincare routine, but I want an International opinion ( In Greece, I think that derms and aestheticians are a little old fashioned, my derm doesnt even know the brands I'm using )

On Wednesdays i use the inkey list mandelic acid or the ordinary salicylic acid (depending on how I feel my face) instead of the retinol and skip the revive serum. If I'm breaking out, maybe I would do a clay mask(origins clear improvement active charcoal mask) instead of both. I use the Ole henriksen strength trainer peptide boost moisturizer.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends i skip acids and retinols and just use my serum and  the ole henriksen moisturizer. My cleansers, toner, essense and eye cream are always stable. If I'm about to work night shift or if my eyes look darker I may add the ordinary caffeine solution. 
Generally i get complimented on how bright my skin looks (though Im white as hell) but the occassional pimples bother me a lot. So I'm trying to find a way to have as clear skin from acne as possible or at least have more controllable pimples.  I was wondering if it would make sense to add more retinol days and how would that affect my acid days. I also do feel like I am using too much but again, I am a sucker for skincare so I find it difficult to use less. But please be honest with me 😅

I stumbled upon a self tanner on the supermarket. Its called Summer Look Gradual Bronzing Body Lotion by a brand called Bioten. Im not sure how those things work. I usualy dont bother myself much whith tanning. I mean, I'm white as a ghost so I hardly ever tan. I do enjoy the sun though. But I dont want to overdo it with sunbathing so I thought i could give this a chance.
I did enjoyed the initial scent of the product but then the scent became very bad. I hope I dont turn orange

Any thoughts on self tanners?

When I first purchased this product for my combo acne prone skin, I was kind of dissappointed because I did not find an improvement on my skin. The application also confused the heck out of me. Ι mean, I wanted to use hyaluronic acid afterwards so I needed a damp face but I didnt think that doing that to this toner would help. Nor damping my face afterwards too. So after reading some tips on where to use this I finaly found  a way to perfectly use this.
I have an oily scalp with flakes, so I use this on my head before showering two times a week. It saves me an extra showering and my scalp feels better. I also use it on my armpits for unscented sweat all day. For a time, I used it on my legs to cure my strawberry legs condition that I had.
The amount of liquid the bottle has is so worthy for its prize

I have been using this for years. Its great for oily or combo skin, specially for acne prone skin

I feel like the pump releases more product than the one you need which practicaly means that the bottle empties fast. And its very expensive for just vitamin c

I like the smell and the way it blends. I use it every morning and it matches with all of the products I use. Lately I get complimented a lot about how bright my face looks but I cant tell if thats the reason. I mostly use it because the vitamin c form it has which is the most potent. 

Its too oily for me. The formulation isnt for combo/oily skin types

I would prefer an unscented version but Kiehl's is all about the smell sometimes
