Hey there everyone!

Everyone one on the internet absolutely loves niacinamide and hylaronic acid. 😝 I mean everyone.

However my skin just can’t take it. I have tried the niacinamide from the ordinary. Ok ok. Maybe the procentage is too high. But it stings so much that i don’t even want to give it another chance and waste money.

Hylaronic acid on the other hand… oof 😓. No matter what product it is, it burns my skin. Eye pads, creams, serums…. Everything. It is really frustrating cause it is in so many products.

Now you maybe be thinking 🤔 this bish has really sensitive skin. But that doesn’t even feel true. My skin can handle pretty high retinol. Is it because it is acids? I think not. My skin can the ordinarys peeling solution just fine. No stinging or tingling. 

Is this something that happens to anyone else?

For now I will stay away from those two ingredients…. 🥲

Sensitivity to ingredients that everyone loves

I recently started using a topical treatment for my acne. It contains retinol and an antibiotic. 

When I started I didn’t wear make up cause it feels counterproductive. So I tried it and the times I did, It felt like it got bad again. Maybe it is just a coincidence or I am imagining things.

Not wearing Make-up makes me a bit insecure ( I know i shouldn’t be). But I am also scared of make up counteracting my treatment.

If you use prescription Treatments do you wear Make-up? If so what kind and how much? Would you wear Make up if you had a prescription treatment?

Make up and Prescription Treatments

Hi there. I am looking for something to support my ‚Acnatac‘ treatment. It a topical cream containing Clindamycin (1%) and tretinoin (0.0025%). So it is a gel that has an antibiotic and a strong form of retinol. 
My favorite hydroboost water cream from neutrogena burns on my skin from using it. So does the niacinamide+zinc serum from the ordinary . My skin usually red around my nose anyways but the treatment is drying out my skin etc.
Does anyone have experience with this. Maybe there are some products that you could recommend that are soothing or that support and help the gel, if that makes sense. Open to any and all products.

However I would not use it everyday. While it did‘t hurt my skin, it definitly made it feel tight and ‚squieky‘. Please don‘t buy this product if you want to solve your ‚acne‘ problems. It merely cleansed my skin, it didn‘t improve texture or acne.

I have very oily skin and this definitly helped my sebum production. The texture is great and it has no smell. Not irritating what so ever to my skin (my skin loves SA).
