So, my mom is getting frustrated with my acne (even though I am really chill with it 😅), and she then asked some neighbor for advices. One of them recommended a soap bar for face, and my mom bought it. I was and am really skeptical with the claims, but I could not say no to her, because when I said "OK, I'll try" she looked so excited. But, the problem is, the usage instruction for the product is to leave the foam for 5-15 minutes before rinsing it. I just tried it once, and it feels a little bit drying and leaves tight feeling to my skin. It is still bearable because I use many layers of hydrating and moisturizing products after that. So, how do you think? Should I continue using it or not?

Below is the ingredients list of the product if you are wondering. I do really hope anyone who is an expert in skincare especially in ingredients thing here can provide an insight for this matter 💕

I once read that the correct way to use BHA is directly after we wash our face, then leave it for 20 minutes before putting any other products. But, what I know all this time is just following the product's instruction that I use, which is using it in the serum slot or after toner if it is in the form of serum, or use it as toner if it has watery texture. Then, I will use any other products without waiting for 20 minutes. So, which one is correct?

What and how is the correct way to use BHA?

Because of the texture, I cannot use this more than 4 drops. Otherwise, this serum will stay on the top of my skin and make my face looks so greasy.

I do not know why this super potent antioxidant serum is so under-rated. Since I am using this serum, my skin looks radiant, smooth, and plump. I notice my PIE is soothed and my PIH is slowly disappeared. It also feels hydrating. The texture is like light oil. The scent is like.. coconut cooking oil if that makes sense? Sorry I cannot describe scent that good hehe. It is a staple product for me in morning and night skincare routine. I have been using this serum for more than 7 months and will be continue using it.

It is quite tricky to use. It is difficult to spread the product evenly if my skin is too damp or too dry. That&#39;s why I have to make sure that I use the right hydrating and moisturizing product. Otherwise, it will look patchy. The lotion is easily dripped from the lid since the texture is really runny, so I have to be carefull when I am taking it out. It will also make the lid look messy.

I am trying to look for physical&#47;inorganic sunscreen and this is my first try. Since it is actually for baby, I believe that this product is gentle and safe for grown-up with acne-prone and sensitized skin. 

The texture is runny lotion. Once it is rubbed to the skin, it leaves whitecast like usual inorganic sunscreen. Thankfully, the whitecast will be less noticeable and still looked natural on my warm-tone skin. The finish is rather semi-matte. It still looks glowy a little bit on my combination skin. It does not feel drying at all, but it is not that hydrating either.

The only thing I do not like about this product is the price. It is really expensive :&#39;)

I decided to step up my retinol game with this product!

It contains 0.05% retinal, which is stronger than retinol. It also contains hyaluronic acid, squalane, safflower seed oil, shea butter, polyglutamic acid, ceramide to make this cream feels more hydrating and moisturizing. The finish looks glowy without being oily and sticky.

I am using this every night before my moisturizer. I only need a pea-sized of it which is sufficent for my entire face. The result is uh-mazing! Within 2 weeks, the bumpy texture on my skin is smoother. The bump which is caused by closed-comedone is gone. My pimples also heal faster without being dry. My PIH also fades faster. I love it so much!

Nothing. I love this so much. Will repurchase it if I miss using this.

This was my most favorite cream before I find my current holy grail cream. It feels light on my skin but really moisturizing. I used it both at morning and night even though the name is sleeping mask. During the time I was using this, I noticed a significant brightening effect.

I don&#39;t really see any differences with my skin in terms of lightening effect. I think I should use it long enough to see that.

I just realized that Skin Aqua in Indonesia have 2 kinds of sunscreen which have SPF 50. One with blue cap is UV Moisture Milk, and this one with silver cap is UV Whitening Milk. This one actually is the reformulation of the old one which has only SPF 20.

This one has thicker texture than the Moisture Milk. It has lotion to cream texture. It has faint smell of your grandma or mother&#39;s old lotion which not bad at all. Interestingly, there is no fragrances or any essential oils listed in the ingredients list.

The ingredients list here are a bit different with the one I have right now. Although it also contains Improved Hyaluronic Acid for the moisturizing effect, but it has Tranexamic Acid for lightening effect which is not listed in Picky here. It does not use paraben at all as preservatives.

It leaves a sheer whitecast at first and feels a bit tacky for minutes. However, it all disappears  once it is set on the skin. The finish is satin. I can still see a little bit glow on my skin. It feels lightweight like I don&#39;t use anything yet moisturizing enough that I can skip my moisturizer. It is not oxidized and does not make my face look oily throughout the day. 

I don&#39;t really like the UV Moisture Milk one since it feels drying throughout the day, but I love this one so much better ! I think I will stick to this one.
