So I think I'm about to switch up my routine but I wanted to ask if what I'm doing makes sense because I've been getting frustrated with my acne lately..

Ive been using salicylic acid products for a while, probably around 6 months, and I just don't think they're working. I went through an entire bottle of the CeraVe SA cleanser and then I switched to their normal foaming cleanser and used stridex pads a couple times a week. I used a whole pack of those and even started another but I feel like my skin is just getting worse/more pimple-y.

Outside of those products, I use just a basic Neutrogena moisturizer and CVS brand sunscreen in the morning. Occasionally a sheet mask just for fun. I have a silk pillowcase and drink a decent amount of water, if that matters idk.

So I'm thinking I should stop the stridex and use some kind of benzoyl peroxide product a couple times a week. Most likely the 4% panoxyl cleanser. My backup if that doesn't work is maybe trying glycolic acid, but I will probably drag my butt to the derm before I have to do that.

Sorry this is definitely a rant but I just wanted to put it out there and see if anyone has any input 😆😆

Switching from SA to BP ?

Soooo I just randomly ran into sedocrem on the internet somehow and there seems to be a skincare discussion around it. People use it almost like a spot treatment and it helps calm inflamed acne spots? Anyone else heard of this? 😂
I am genuinely curious because it's pretty cheap and a simple product. Even if it doesn't have drastic results, is it worth trying? Let me know what you guys think, or if anyone uses it themselves!!

Sudocrem?

I recently got the caffeine solution from the ordinary to try out as an under-eye product. I haven't used it long enough to notice results, but I'm a little concerned. When I put it on my skin it feels.. warm? Not like burning, or a tingling, but warm in an uncomfortable way. I keep it in a cool, dry place, not in my bathroom, so I'm wondering if it's reacting with my skin? I don't notice any redness or other signs of irritation, so this is a little strange.
Any ideas? Should I stop using it?

What are some good drugstore sunscreens that you've found?

I've had trouble finding one that doesn't leave a white cast, is smooth to put on, doesn't smell like a beach, and isn't expensive since it will have to be repurchased often. 
I'm not against alcohol or fragrance for my skin, so I thought it would be easy, but no xD

I know for those concerns a lot of people recommend korean sunscreens, but I find that ordering just one product and having it shipped isn't the easiest for me.
I also live in the US for reference!

Drugstore sunscreens

So I've been using stridex pads for a while as a BHA toner. 
The product says to apply to dry skin but I find that drying my face after cleansing, applying the stridex, letting it soak in, then re-dampening my face with water for my moisturizer/serums is quite tedious/time consuming. However, if I don't dry my face beforehand, the stridex product foams up in a way. I'm sure there is an ingredient that can be to blame for this but I'm not super knowledgeable on it.

Anyways, my question is if there is a way around this? Does the product actually need to be applied to dry skin to work properly? Is there an alternate way to apply it besides wiping my face with the pads?

Any help appreciated!!

BHA on wet skin?

The only thing I&#39;m not a fan of is that the percentage of active ingredients (hyaluronic acid) isn&#39;t listed on the bottle or online anywhere. I would like a little more transparency...

I got this on a whim at my local drugstore and didn&#39;t have high expectations, but I feel like it worked pretty well! Hydrated my skin without reacting at all, didn&#39;t have a smell, and had a nice, thin texture!
