Help! Is it compromising to my skin barrier if I spot treat with benzac AC 5 gel every night, with the exception of 2 nights a week where I chemically exfoliant using the Standard beauty Salicylic acid. When I use the salicylic acid, I don’t use the benzoyl peroxide as I’m nervous to mix the two.

Hi everyone! I’ve been on tretinoin 0,025% for a month now using it once a week. Any experience on purging and how long it lasted? Should I starting using it twice a week now? Thanks so much 🥰

Overtime, this cleanser smooths the skin like nothing i have ever used before. I am going to assume it is the lactic acid. I have dehydrated normal skin and even though this is marketed towards oily, it is perfectly fine for my skin type. Foams amazingly. 

I do think that there are way more affordable options out there that will do the job or maybe even better. 
The packaging / dispenser on this product lets a lot of product go to waste as you cannot get most of the last bit of product out. 

I love that this product is not aggravating on the skin. Its perfect for sensitive to normal to dry skin although i do think that if you have oily skin, you could get away with it too. I love that it is fragrance free and a high SPF level. This product is moisturising and doesnt leave a white cast, baring in mind you let it settle into your skin for about 5 minutes. My reasoning for 3 stars is the price. Definitely worth a try though.

The pump on the bottle is faulty! I have heard many people complain about standard beautys packaging. I didnt notice a significant improvement however i did enjoy the fact that my makeup was so easy to remove! 

This cleansing oil removes my makeup amazingly. If you are a dry skin girl/guy, you will love this as well as if you are oil wanting to double cleanse! Super affordable and lasts a while if you are only using it at night to double cleanse. 

I have nothing bad to say about this oil. 

I really enjoyed this oil considering it was my first ever oil that I included into my routine. It didn’t clog my pores or break me out at all, in fact it locked in all my skins moisture leaving my combo/dehydrated skin with no dry patches even through winter! Its super affordable and a major plus for me is the fact that it works absolutely amazingly on my hair! It makes my hair so soft and shiney. 

Wouldn’t recommend this to sensitive and super dry skin as it can be quite harsh however it could work if you use a small amount and load on the moisturiser! 

The pictures are literally a night apart. Before using this product, and after. There is a visible improvement everytime i use this product. It is by far my favourite standard beauty product! And it is so affordable and will last me forever! I use it in my night routine twice a week because it is quite strong and I don’t want to compromise my barrier. It is also somehow hydrating?! My pores and breakouts are visibly smaller in the morning. I look forward to my salicylic acid nights!
