There was nothing bad for me personally, but I would note that some people are sensitive to niacinamide in such high concentrations as 10% - even though niacinamide is known as quite a mild active with no direct side effects. Please make sure you can use niacinamide before using this product.

I’m very pleased about the formula of this, such a high strength niacinamide in combination with tranexamic acid and arbutin is promising when it comes to diminishing pigmentation and evening out the overall skintone. Niacinamide also helps balance out oil production and can help with outbreaks. I will continue to use this serum daily, and have high hopes for the effects seen in a month or two. 

I’m giving it four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because I want to know how it works on my skin in the long run before I commit to five. I will come back and update once I can see a difference.

I haven’t used it for more than a few weeks, so I can’t pinpoint anything bad. It is a thicker kind of serum, so you need to apply a toner or water underneath in order to maximize the hydration. If you don’t, you might find that the serum stays on top of your skin as a glaze, and not really sinking in that deep to hydrate. Using toners underneath I haven’t had issues with this.

I received this product for free from Picky and MIXSOON in exchange for my honest review. I’ve been using the Mixsoon Bean Essence daily for almost three weeks. This product is supposed to be a vegan, cruelty-free option to snail mucin. I have tried both, and I actually prefer the texture of this. I apply this serum om damp skin after I’ve used my toners. It’s perfectly goopy and leaves a dewy and plumped finish that works great under makeup. I have dry to combo, dehydrated skin, and I need to replenish it daily. I find the formula helps my skin look more juicy. The product can be used both as a regular serum, and as a mechanical exfoliant, where you massage it into your face for a few minutes to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. When it comes to long-term effects, I can’t say for sure as I haven’t been using it long enough. It does contain glycerine, one of my favorite humectants, and it’s jam packed with some lovely fermented ingredients (fermented soy bean/lactobacillus, Punica granulatum/lactobacillus, fermented barley seed/saccharomyces and fermented pear juice/lactobacillus) and antioxidants, and is supposed to hydrate, strengthen and balance the skin. I will continue to use the serum, and I will probably repurchase once I finish this bottle - as it is quite affordable compared to other fermented skincare products on the market. 

I have nothing bad to say about this product. It’s one of my biggest HG and I recommend it to everyone! Use at night, please start out slowly and with the lowest strength if you haven’t used retinoids before, as there can be some side effects. Always wear sunscreen! 

OK, this is THE cheapest retinaldehyde on the marked. The formula is wonderful, and you can get it in two strengths (A-Game 5 and A-Game 10). Retinal is just so much more effective than retinol. Skip the expensive brands! Go with this one! I am currently on Tretinoin, if not I would keep buying this over and over again.

I haven’t experienced any downsides yet. I know that the smell - a mild herbal smell - could be a downside for others. I don’t think the product has perfumes, I think it’s the smell of the natural oils. 

I have experienced clogged pores that grow into pimples from other oil cleansers, so I’ll be watching closely for signs of clogged pores. I do make sure to emulsify the oil properly with water before removing it. It’s also important to do a thorough second cleanse afterwards, so that all the gunk gets washed off the face. 

I will update my review once I can say for sure if the cleansing oil is clogging approved from me. 👌

I have been removing my makeup with this every night as my first cleansing step. So far, my skin seems to like it. I sometimes experience clogged pores from oil cleansers, so I will have to see within a few weeks how it works for me in that regard. 

It contains jojoba oil, which is meant to mimic the skin’s natural oils. Heartleaf has antibacterial properties and can help reduce inflammation. And turmeric, a super viral active that promotes a natural glow. 

It gets four stars ⭐️🌟🌟🌟because I love the product so far, but cannot go as far as call it a holy grail until I see the results over time. Will update my review once I know.
