Writing about the viral K-Beauty sunscreen Beauty Of Joseon Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ PA++++ that I had to get my hands on and have been enjoying just as much as everyone else.

I love rice in my skincare so seeing a rice-based sunscreen was indeed intriguing especially because I adore the skin brightening and nourishing effects of rice, the rice and probiotics along with the SPF ingredients help to protect my skin and to prevent further damage and discolouration in the long run.

The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics sunscreen is a dream to apply. It’s lightweight but also has a creaminess to it that really combats any dry areas and leaves my skin with a youthful glow. I apply 2-3 fingers worth all over my face, neck and ears.

It’s one of those sunscreens that I can apply both under makeup and on its own without needing to apply a separate moisturiser first. 

Although the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun : Rice + Probiotics is moisturizing it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy, but leaves a pleasant dewy glow that I like, and also hasn’t caused any clogged pores or breakouts which is great.

How Long this serum last?: The packaging says this must be used in 3 months. If it turns Coca-Cola brown then, then I will stop, even if I do not finish the product. I have been using from last 3 months and my serum turned yellowish.

Oxidizes very quickly
This will go bad on you within a month, 2 at most. I received it clearish and within a couple of weeks it turned yellow therefore no longer active. Disappointing to say the least. Why can’t companies put vitamin c in a pump so it can last longer?


What is it?: A Brightening Serum containing Vitamin C and Alpha Arbutin to even the skin’s tone and fade dark spots. Containing Black Chokeberry (and excluding Fragrance + Essential Oils) to try and reduce irritation.

Aims to: Provide Antioxidant benefits / Fade Hyperpigmentation / Reduce Dullness / Stimulate Collagen Production (Via the Vitamin C)

This is a lightweight watery serum that runs down the hand. It absorbs fast and doesn’t really sting or irritate the skin. I don’t get a hot or warm sensation when applying. It simply feels like a hydrating serum.

Clinique All about Clean Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser
It is a Cream-mousse cleanser gently and effectively rinses away makeup. Purifying cleanser lathers into a rich foam to rinse away pollution, dirt, excess oil, long-wearing makeup and sunscreen quickly, gently, effectively. Leaves oily skin feeling fresh and clean. Non-drying. Non-stripping.

Nothing was bad about the product, it’s so good!

It consists of 440000ppm of Heart Leaf Extract that has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. This cleanser helped in calming and nourishing my skin. It contains 5000ppm of Salicylic Acid, which is a gentle exfoliant that unclogs pores and helps to prevent breakouts.The Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract promotes collagen products and aids in skin recovery.

The rich texture foam effectively removes impurities, excess oil, and makeup, leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. 

Gentle Exfoliation: Salicylic Acid helps to prevent breakouts and improve skin texture without irritation.
