Looking for a recommendation for something which promotes healing and is soothing. 

Have had this little set of red blemishes for a month or so now. I am very acne prone however usually heal fast. I've had a cold so think this is why this little patch of hormonal spots is more stubborn to heal. 

My skin overall gets red pretty easily, so any advice there would also be much appreciated. Other than these 2 things my general skin health is really on the up after getting a good routine together, I've always had very problematic skin and been a compulsive picker but luckily discovering acrylic nails has helped on that end too.

Slow healing blemishes

So I've had this rash persistently knocking around either side of my chin for well over 3 months. Aside from this my skin is doing great and I have the odd acne cyst pop up but nothing like it used to be.

I naturally felt it was allergy related, only because it itches in the morning and at night and sometimes gets worse if I eat out.

I had a phone appointment with the doc the other day and sent her these photos. She INSISTED it was acne and that I must go on antibiotics for 6 months! I wasn't keen on this as like to save antibiotics for when I really need them. She said if it didn't clear up after that, then only then would she refer me to a derm. 

I've spent hours since then trying to figure out if I can fix this without having to go on oral meds and stumbled across a similar post on reddit, where someone asked the op if they dribble/drool at night and if so maybe try a toothpaste which is sls and/ or fluoride free. I read this and instantly felt this could be the cause, as I'm a big dribbler when I sleep. 

I'm going to give it a go and pick up a new toothpaste today. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/ or has advice?

I really like her no bull**** way of explaining things but just wanted to check and see if anyone disagrees with the information in this?

I'm about to base my new routine on this book so would love to hear your opinions  😊

Im after a vegan & cruelty free replacement for sudocrem. 

I sometimes find myself needing something healing to put on my face due to a chronic skin picking disorder. I really like sudocrem as I find I can put a thin layer under my moisturiser if I've picked my skin and in the morning some of the redness has improved.

I'm trying to lower my impact on other beings and my current pot of sudocrem is nearly finished. Does anyone recommend anything for this purpose? 

Any recommendations appreciated 😊

I'm also prone to clogged pores so bonus points for non-comedogenic products 🤞

Hey all,

I went to TK Maxx yesterday and picked up some goodies. Found this day cream and decided to give it a go. There's nothing on here about it yet but it looks like it has potential.

First impressions are good, all though it did pill a little. I'll leave a full review when it is added to Picky and I've used it for a little longer. 

The cosmetic drone technology is what interests me all though I do wonder if it's a bit of a gimmick. Has anyone used this product or another with this feature? Would be interesting to hear what you think.

The idea is that certain ingredients are released at targeted areas within the skin, not a new idea but it seems the way they're doing it is a bit different.

Found this in TK Maxx yesterday and first impressions are great. Love the feel of the product, the ingredients are great and a good price too. Felt light but as nourishing as a rich night cream, so perfect for my oily skin. I also love the packaging. Can see myself buying this again.

When I&#39;ve had acne flare ups this really makes it worse. Probably more suitable to more mature skin.

I love how gentle this is and it&#39;s really affordable. The packaging is non fussy.

Nothing was bad about this product, besides being a bit meh.

I do like this foaming cleanser but it is on the expensive side for what it is. I like the small size as it means I can bring it to work when I have to stay overnight and it doesn&#39;t take too much space and I don&#39;t need to worry about leakage. On the other hand it is pretty basic in what it does for my skin, I probably wouldn&#39;t buy it again.

Not a bad thing for me as I love the dewy glow, however if you have super oily skin this could have potential to feel greasy.

I like how this makes my skin dewy without feeling heavy. I gave it a good 20 minutes to sink in as when I first put it on it sort of just sat there. No whitecast at all. I like the packaging and the price is great. Vegan and cruelty free also. Don&#39;t mistake the red blotches as irritation, they were there prior to using this product and actually this feels quite soothing if anything.

Stings like a b***h if you get it into an open bit of skin. All though easily avoided once you&#39;re aware so no biggie really. Overall great product.

This is really easy to use and as with all of TO products the packaging is simple and effective. I use this once a week and really like how efficient it is. I almost feel like using it more often would be good for me however I think I&#39;ll wait a few more weeks.
