I really want to love the brand Skin1004, but it looks like my skin can't handle their products.

What products I tried so far:
- Hylau-Cica Sleeping Pack
- Madagascar Hyalu-Cica Blue Serum
- Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule
- Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner 

They all give me the same result: hudge break outs. Like the really bad ones with cystic acne that stays for weeks and leave marks when they finally go.

I tried a lot like leaving all other products out. Only 1 product a day etc. But even ended up with my skinbarrier damaged with the tone brighting line. When it was almost healed I thought let's try the hyalu cica blue serum again. One after only one time  *BOOM* welcome back pimple.

I'm unsure what ingredient is causing this. I doubt it would be the niacinamide. I used the Ordinary niacinamide twice a day, before getting into kbeauty and that high percentage was totally fine for my skin.

Could it be the centella? I have the feeling it has something to do with the centella. But then again, when using Dear Klairs midnight blue calming cream I have no issue with the centella.

Anyone else have the same experience with Skin1004? Someone who can educate me on the centella? Are there diffrent kinds?

Skin1004 break outs

Currently my skin is recovering from a huge breakout that lasted almost 6 weeks (because of testing the Skin1004 brightening ampoule and toner. My skin doesn't like the products 😅). 
So now I stopped using the product for almost a week. My acne is slowly healing. But my skin is still very sensitive (even more then usual), itchy, stingy, red even after just a wash with water. I think my skin barrier might be damaged 🤔.

So I want something to help recover my skin barrier. I have athe real barrier extream cream, but I can't use that every night because I have the feeling that will clog my pores to much and again cause a break out (I have very acne prone skin). I currently use the Some by mi propolis toner twice a day. And I use dear Klair blue calming cream and Skin1004 sleeping pack as moisturisers daily alternatly. I leave out all actives and serum, so just a simple routine with toner, moisturiser and SPF.

So I have 2 products already in my closet that might help. But I think introducing them both at the same time is not a good idea. What would you advise? Which one? Or non of them?

A toner? (The Tony moly cermamide mochi toner)

Or a nice moisturiser? (Pure'am authentic barrier cream)

I just can't deal with another break out at this point 😭

I notice I have a problem with my skin absorbing the products. Eveytime I use something on my face, it starts pilling.

At first I thought it was because of my products, specifically The ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. But when i leave that out, it also happens with the niacinamide. Even when I only clean my face and use moisturiser, is starts pilling.

When layering products, I always wait a few minutes before adding something new. But it doenst seem to sink into my skin? So maybe it is not the product, but my skin? (Damaged skin barrier??) Even my toner (witch hazel) doenst sink in very fast.

I always had oily, acne prone skin. Lately i notice my skin being dehydrated, acne prone and sensitive. I don't recall if the pilling got worse since the dehadreted skin started. But it is for sure that it got worse.

The cosrx salicylic acid face wash I use every 3 night. The holika holika peeling gel once a week. The holika holika green tea cleanser daily. I double clean in the evening. The cleansers I use are gentle, but my skin always feel tight after using.

What are your thoughts on this? What could it be and what should I do? I really don't know anymore.

Skin doesn't absorb product?

I received an e-mail that the give away process is changing. I have to add my adress to my profile, but I am at lost how to do this. I don't find that option anywhere. Today my Skin1004 give away finally arrived😍. I am so excited to try them out.

Only, I was wondering what is the best way to do it? I received the toner and the ampoule (gorgeous bottle😍!). Should I start with the toner and after 1 or 2 weeks add the ampoule as well? Or then quit the toner and only use the ampoule? So I can better see individual results. Or just start with them both at the same time? Should be great for results, since it is the same line. But maybe more hard to review for separate results?

Cons:
I experienced a breakout with using this 2 times a day, in combination with the tone brightening ampoule. Since the break out didn't became less, I decide to stop after 2 weeks. After my skin calmed down I started for only once a day. 
My skin is very sensitive, I think it will be even better for me to use the toner en ampoule not at the same day. But that is something I have to explore further.

They claimed it would be hydrating and deep soothing care. Unfortunally I did not find this to be hydrating and soothing.

After 5 weeks there is a small difference in brighting with my blemishes. But that might just be natural process anyway?

💗 My experience
I have used this product for 5 weeks now. I started off with 2 times a day in my AM en PM routine. Pooring some in my hand and patting of my face. After 2 weeks stopped for a few days and after I went down  to once a day. I have very sensitive skin. The toner did nothing for my skin to immediately sooth and calm down skin after cleaning.
I used the toner in combination with the brightening ampoule. After 5 weeks using together, I notice a small difference in redness looking at acne scars, blemishes and breakouts. The small difference there is, might be because of natural process? I am not sure. But otherwise it would be a product that works slowly over time.

Overall, I think this can be a great toner. Unfortunally, I have very sensitive skin. So it might have been to much for me in combination with the ampoule. Or to much in combination with my current routine (made sure to leave niacinamide out) and I have to find out how to work this toner properly in my routine. I will explore some more with this toner!

How cute is this! I'm such a sucker for pretty packaging.
To open, just pull the white bear cap and remove plastic cover on top of the balm.

Texture: It feels on the skin like a balm, but lightweigt and not oily. If that makes sense😅. 

My expierence: When I apply the balm it instantly gives this nice and cool sensation. I feel this helps in the morning with my puffy eyes. Unfortunately the cooling sensation ks not lasting, only 1 or 2 minutes. I wish it lasted longer (or that there was more product so I could keep swiping it under my eyes 😂)

💧Texture and scent
It has a consistency slightly thicker then essence, it feels a bit like oil but lightweight? Not sure how to describe that.😅 it has small white beads in the serum.

*I have very sensitive, acne prone skin*

I have used this product for 5 weeks now. I started off with 2 times a day in my AM en PM routine. Using the dropper, 1 drop is enough for the entire face. So that bottle will last a lifetime! 
After a few days ai experienced a break out. Not only my usaul places were worse, but also places Inormally dont have a break out. After 2 weeks I stopped for a few days and after went down to once a day. 

After 5 weeks using this together, I barely notice any difference in redness looking at acne scars, blemishes and breakouts. The small difference there is, might be because of natural process? It is hard to tell, because I still experience a huge break out that just doenst go away and is getting worse. I used the ampoule in conbination with the brightening toner. That might be to much for my skin? I will use them separate from now on to see how that goes. Or even skip out other things in my routine when using this. Maybe that way it works better for me skin. Just something I need to explore more, dont want to give it up yet.

I do have to see I feel like this ampoule is more successful ( then the brightening toner) in terms of being helpful for hydrated skin and soothing care. It immediately helps my skin with redness and sensitivity cleansing.

Overall, I think this can be a great ampoule. Just be carefull if you have sensitive skin! Find out what works for your skin.

For me personally there are no bad things about this product. But the colours available are very limited, so it's not inclusive for all.

This foundation is just marvellous. 

I actually just quit using foundation years ago, because it was all just to heavy, wrong colour, faded quickly, not suitable with my sensitive skin, causing break outs , cakey and so on. But when I came across this one, I fell in love with the package. I have a weakness for beautiful packaging. Don't you just love it? So I decided to give it a go.

🌸 My skin looks hydrated and flawless. I don't even notice I have foundation on, it looks so natural! (very sad when I clean my face in the evening and have to face the harsh truth that flawless, glass-like skin isn't my natural skin, lol).

🌸 Semi-matte finish. Very natural. Glass like skin.

🌸 I have sensitive, oily skin. At the end of the day everything is still in place just like the minute after I put it on my face. *side note: I do use a setting spray to last my eyeliner longer. So that might help with the foundation as well.

🌸It covers my pores and blemishes beautifully, without becoming cakey.

🌸 it doesn't break out my acne prone skin. Even when I use it during a hormonal break out, it doesn't make it worse.

🌸 The puff/sponge is amazing. Very soft and easy to use. 

🌸 The coverage is light, but buildable. I usually go with one layer, 2 when I have more blemishes.

🌸 I have a light skin, with a slightly yellow undertone. I bought 201 which turns out to be the perfect match.

My skin does feel tight after using this cleanser. Maybe because of the added fragrance.



The package is huge, so a lot of product for a cheap price!👌

The cleanser has a nice consistency; creamy, silky. It will foam a bit when adding water. I use this as a second cleaner, after the oil cleanser and that works good. Removes all the access oil and leaves my face clean. 

It has a nice and fresh smell, not to overwhelming I would say.
