Hello! I have never used retinol before but want to start now. What are some good retinol option for beginners with a low percentage?

I think of the texture as honey being formulated as mask with lots of other good things. It is a silky, creamy, caramel like (but less sticky and lighter) texture that glides on easily on the skin. After washing it off it leaves almost like a thin oily coating on the which I find very hydrating for my skin type.

The sensorial experience is wonderful, it is like slathering honey on your face. The directions say it can be left from 10 mins up to an hour. Whenever my skin feels dry, dehydrated or irritated, this mask takes care of all of that for me. I leave it on for more than an hour at times as it feels like a nice skin healing, pampering session for me. After washing the mask my skin is so soft, moisturised and nourished that I don’t even feel the need to carry on with the rest of my routine. The glow it leaves looks super healthy.

I 100% recommend it to anyone with dry skin. It will save your skin all winter and on. It can be very soothing and nourishing for oily skin too. I would suggest to reconsider to those with acne-prone skin as the can be too overwhelming (might cause breakout) for them. The glass packaging can be recycled and reused in many ways. The price can be a bit high but you get many washes from it which I think makes it worth it. I would totally repurchase it.

🥄 Ａｐｐｌｉｃａｔｉｏｎ: the fluid absorbs as soon as you swipe it on the skin. It leaves no white at all. It is quite lightweight and can be reapplied without feeling heavy on the skin. It leaves a DEWY finish ( which I like personally).

🧚🏻‍♀️ Ｍｙ ｏｐｉｎｉｏｎ: I was surprised after I opened the packaging as I wasn’t expecting for the bottle to be this small 😂 ( quite cute though). It’s a liquid, hence it makes sense that a small bottle is enough to hold the product. Also, because of the fluid texture it absorbs quickly. Unlike other sunscreen, there’s no of rubbing it in (one swipe ➡️ and it’s gone). Reapplication is easy. I was in confusion about the amount I should be applying since it’s fluidy&#47;runny. I just followed the 3 fingers rule.

🌸I enjoy the overall sensorial experience. It has a really sweet smell that helps me relax when I use it. I like to take my time and do a little face massage as well.

🌸The balm melts beautifully with warmth and emulsifies well in contact with water. It removes sunscreen, makeup, dirt, oil.

🌸Leaves the skin soft, nourished and clean at the same time. It is crammed with 7.8% Fig and Oil water, Vitamins, polyphenol, peptides, amino acids and antioxidants.
