I’m turning 40 this year, and really need a skincare routine. I’m lucky, I generally have good skin - few fine lines, few acne bumps, I don’t really drink alcohol nor smoke. 

But I do notice that I have rosacea, and that my skin isn’t as smooth as it used to be 10 years ago. 

I don’t even know where to start with a routine, and I get overwhelmed about chemicals, and then part of me thinks, “wait a sec, haven’t all those chemicals been in a hot warehouse for months?” and, “but do we actually absorb anything through the epidermis?”

It’s just a lot and overwhelming.

I don’t even know where to start looking for a routine.

The things that I don’t like are that the product is a bit sticky after drying, and it can react weirdly with some foundations. I wish it were more “wet”.

In the winter it feels like the right thickness or viscosity, but in the summer it feels too heavy. 

Ultimately, I’ll keep buying it because it’s already at Trader Joe’s and is affordable, but I’d step up my moisturizer if I knew what to step up too. 

Good things I like about this:
🥰 cost — very affordable
🥰 low smell - I don’t like fragrance and this has nearly none
🥰 SPF in the product
🥰 it seems like I never run out.
