In my experience, it's true because it is burned, the water content evaporates so the coverage increases. But the feel is more matte and dry.

I think it is absolutely worth it, considering that it is easy to use, affordable, and provides results comparable to more expensive exfoliators.
If you are looking for an exfoliating acid and you have dry skin or sensitive skin that cannot tolerate glycolic acid, consider one of the other acids offered by The Ordinary.

It is expensive. Moreover, its bottle is small so I have to pump 3-4 times. Overall, I don't have any bad experience about this product.

La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Light Moisturizer | 40ml

My Highlights:
• A very light fluid-like consistency;
• Moisturizes skin well;
• Calms down the skin irritations for sensitive skin;
• Never breaks out skin;
• Paraben-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, colorant-free;
• Pump mechanism makes the use fuss free and hygienic.

My Impression:
It is pricey but worth it because it immediately keeps my sensitive skin brighter, smoother and mositurized after four weeks. I hygiencally applied it approximately 3-4 pumps to cover my whole face and neck. Lastly, it creates non greasy finish to my skin.

All in all, I'd rate this a 4.9/5
