Thoughts on using a sunscreen spray for reapplication throughout the day? I’ve tried reapplying my regular sunscreen and it just doesn’t work for me (it’s a pretty thick, heavy, tinted sunscreen). I want to try using a sunscreen spray for reapplication. 

Any recommendations for some good sunscreen sprays?

Hello! I’m wondering if it’s bad to use Olehenriksen’s Truth Serum and Garnier’s Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream Sunscreen together? The Truth Serum has vitamin C and the Pinea-C also has vitamin C as well as exfoliants.

I added my skincare routine with both products into skinsort.com and got this message:

“Vitamin C + AHA/BHA Warning (morning routine)
Vitamin C is already an acid and adding an exfoliating product may be too harsh for your skin. The effect of this combination depends on your skin’s tolerance to acid! Certain types of acid can potentially destabilize the Vitamin C, rendering it useless. This combination may also throw off the pH balance of your skin.”

Should I not be using them together?

Help! Can I use these 2 products together?

Hello! I’ve just recently gotten more into skincare and have bought all the necessary products for a simple routine (2 cleansers, vitamin C, retinol, PHA/BHA toner, SPF, and a few moisturizers), but I’m having trouble using everything without mixing ingredients that shouldn’t be mixed. 

Currently I’m using retinol and acids on alternating nights, and I’m using vitamin C in the morning. I’d really like to add a Salicylic acid cleanser into my routine because I have a lot of stubborn blackheads, but from what I understand I can’t mix it with retinol, vitamin C, or my PHA/BHA toner. So when I am I supposed to use it? 

Can you ladies tell me your routines in which you use some of these ingredients to help me understand how you do it?? It’s very puzzling to me!! 

I’ve also added the products I use in my routine to give you a better idea of what’s going on. (The products are in the order that I use them, starting with my morning routine and then evening routine!!)

How to create a conflict-free skin routine?

I would only use this as part of a double cleanse routine since I don’t think it’s strong enough to fully remove impurities and things like makeup&#47;SPF.

I love this cleanser. It makes my skin feel hydrated and clean.

I was really disappointed in this product. I had read really good reviews and decided to try it but there are many things i really dislike about it:

The tint - I find it just doesnt suit me and makes me look less radiant and almost sickly. I definitey have to apply blush to make my face come alive a bit. 

It’s too greasy - I always have to finish with a powder after using this (which I usually never do because my skin is not oily) and even then, I still feel oily for at least two hours. It feels like the sunscreen doesn’t really absorb for 2-3 hours after application, and during that time, if I rub my face, the product comes off. 

Hard to blend in - I find this sunscreen hard to blend in. Even if I wait 20-30 minutes after my morning skincare routine to apply it, it tends to pill and just doesn’t go on smoothly. 

After 2-3 hours it starts to settle down and then it looks okay. Nothing amazing, but at least I don’t look greasy anymore. Maybe someone with dry skin would enjoy this, but I kind of doubt it. 

For these reasons, I would not recommend this product.

The only thing I like is its fluid consistency, but it doesn’t go on as smoothly as I would expect.

I gave a 4-star rating for two reasons:

1. I find it hard to reapply this sunscreen. Once you already have a layer of it on your skin, it doesnt go on as nicely and tends to clump (these clumps look terrible and are then really hard to remove). 

2. When I apply this on my hairline it tends to clump and make my hair look weird, sort of white&#47;orange and dry. I haven’t found a way to apply it all over my face and into my hairline without running into this problem. 

Despite these issues, I love this sunscreen and will be buying it again!

I love this sunscreen. I feel that it provides just the right amount of coverage for me, blurs imperfections really well, and gives my face a nice glow. It’s quite thick but applies nicely and blends in well too! I will definitely be buying this again!

I got this product for free but I won’t be buying it again once I finish it. There are a few things I don’t love about it:

-I don’t love the smell. It’s a very strong smell and my boyfriend complains about it when I put on this cream in the evening. At first I thought the smell was nice, but when you smell it every day and put it on your face it becomes quite intense. I don’t like perfume ingredients in my skincare anyways. 

-It feels quite sticky after application and doesn’t feel like it really gets absorbed right away. 

-The price. It’s too expensive for my budget.

I want to love this product, but I think it’s just not the perfect peptide overnight cream for me. 

I like the consistency of the cream, it feels very luxurious.

The price. I received this bottle for free and have been using it for about a month now. The only reason I would consider not getting more once I finish the bottle is because it’s very pricey for me.

I really love this product and would highly recommend it. It is very light, goes on easily (a little goes a long way!), absorbs very fast, and doesnt feel sticky or tight. I use it before my moisturizer in the morning and I really do feel that it gives my skin an extra boost of brightness and plumpness.
