I got a notification on my phone about doing new reviews to remain eligible for the Picky Reviewer renewal, or at least something like that. When I clicked it, I thought that it would take me to a page with more information, but it didn’t. Does anyone know what it was about or have an article they can refer me to? I would really appreciate it!

I’m so excited that I was selected for this opportunity! It’s been a while since I’ve won a giveaway on Picky, and I really wanted to try this since I’ve liked other Skin1004 products and am always looking for great sun protection! I can’t wait to try it out!

Skin1004 Sun Serum Win!

I just joined Picky pretty recently, and I was skeptical that I would ever personally win a giveaway, but I just received an email saying I won the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule!! I’m so excited and shocked that I won one so soon after joining! What a great way to start the day!

No issues or conplaints! I do think it is a little expensive though.

I received this product for free from Picky and MIXSOON in exchange for my honest review. The packaging of this soondy centella asiatica essence is very cute, and it felt subtly festive for the holidays! It comes in a plastic bottle with a screw top, and the label features an adorable  bear, snowflakes, and pine trees! 

The essence itself is a watery texture with an appealing golden yellow color, and it has a very subtle nondescript scent. It felt gentle on my skin and was easy to apply with a cotton ball. Although it takes a bit to fully absorb into my skin, it eventually does without any residue. 

It’s a nice essence for the first step in your skincare routine, and it did feel that it helped with my skin moisture! 

30 SPF is a little lower than I like for my sunscreen, but I wanted to give thos a try. It applies fine, but I felt like it never fully blended into my skin and it left a slight white cast. It’s not bad when worn under makeup, but feeling like I can’t wear it alone and it having a lower SPF makes this a miss for me.

This product is a good option if you’ll be layering with other product, and has a mild scent.

I’ve heard such good things about this product, but it just didnt work for me. It was more “lotion-y” than I was expecting for a serum. That alone wasn’t a problem, but it felt like it never fully absorbed into my skin, leaving a tacky sensation that later evolved into my combination skin feeling extra oily. I also didn’t see much in the way or brightening or firming, and I have concerns about this leading to clogged pores for my skin.

Personally, nothing. For those who are sensitive to fragrance or just don’t like it, you may want to avoid this product. 

While it left my face feeling clean when I was not wearing makeup, I don’t think it’s sufficient for removing all makeup on its own.

I received this in the Neigen Trial Kit through the giveaway by Picky and Neogen. I loved the floral fragrance and thought it smelled wonderful. It felt gentle on my skin while i was applying it, and my skin felt sufficiently clean afterwards without feeling dry or sticky. Although many people recommend rinsing afterwards, I did not and didn’t experience any issues (no irritation, no residue, no breakouts). 

I had no negatives! I was really happy with it!

I received this in the Neigen Trial Kit through the giveaway by Picky and Neogen. This essence is very light and watery. As a result, a little bit goes a ling way. It felt great applying it to my skin. It absorbed easily and left no stickiness afterwards. I used this with the Real Vita C Serum, and I felt like I saw a difference in my skin even after the first application. It seemed like my coloring looked more even, but the fine lines on my forehead were also much less visible. Overall, it left my skin looking and feeling hydrated and healthy!
