Hi everyone. I wanted to ask, does the efficacy of products wear off? I am 27 and my main skin concern at the moment is post acne pitted scarring and post acne marks. I have been using a Western brand 10% Vitamin C but it is almost finished and so was thinking of using Tiam 20% vitamin c. However I was thinking what if this higher percentage of vitamin c is not effective in a few years when my skin is more mature and I might need it more. Does skin become adapted to products?

What are your thoughts on doing both chemical and physical exfoliation? I use a 10% BHA serum once a week, 10% AHA serum once a week. I also use 10% Vitamin C every morning and 10% Azelaic acid 2 times a week at night and 1.5% Retinol 2 times a week at night (not sure if those count as chemical exfoliation). I use a physical exfoliator 2 or 3 times a week. 

Do you think both chemical and physical exfoliation is too much?

Hi I know essences generally go after toners but since I'm from mugwort essence is a fermented product should it be placed first thing after cleansing and toner afterwards?

I know certain actives and ingredients shouldn't be paired together like Vitamin C and Retinol and Niacinamide and Vitamin C. I just wanted to find out if 10% Niacinamide serum can be used together with 10% Azelaic Acid?

Can Niacinamide be used with Azelaic acid?

I have not yet seen anything bad with this product! Have to see if it is suitable to use in summer too as I have oily skin.

I really love this product. I have oily skin but in the winter I noticed my skin looked dry with little crepey lines on my forehead. 

Texture - like a light thin cream, not too runny so it doesn&#39;t spill everywhere.

Effects -  Gives great moisturisation with the oily effects! My skin feels smooth and soft after applying.

Bonus - locally made in South Africa. I am sure it is light enough to use in summer too.

It feels a little bit oily and my face looks a little shiny when applied but that does go away a bit after waiting a while. After I apply sunblock this goes away.

This serum has 10% l ascorbic acid and 3% ferulic acid.

Texture - a bit runny. Only 3 drops is needed - it goes a long way.

When to use - advised to use in the morning as it works well with sunblock. Always use sunblock after applying this product! However it can also be used at night time.

Packaging - comes in a brown bottle with a dropper.

Review - I am sure this product helped with lightening my acne scars. It also helps make my skin look brighter. Really like it.
