I've struggled with painful acne for the most part of this year and i finally got it under control with an acne product with tretinoin. I had purging from that product for 2 months(not anymore), but i started using azelaic acid 20% every other day and i noticed some painful and inflamed pimples. They appeared where my acne usually is. Is it normal or should i stop using the product? Im using in in the hopes that it helps with post acne hyperpigmentation.

Wonderful for oily skin especially in the summer, it doesnt have a smell and its not sticky

It doesnt sync into the skin, leaves a white cast and i find that it pills super easily. Best to use at night

It does soothe the skin and has a bit of a cooking effect

Doesnt clean makeup, it leaves a film on my skin but it doesnt bother me too too much, but sometimes it feel like it pills even if i feel like ive cleaned it enough

This calmed down my contact dermititis from the first use. It leaves the skin hydrated

Can feel slippery&#47;oily, best to use at night, very dry skin could tolerate it in the morning

Its amazing, it calms my acne and dry patches

Dont expect it to be very moisturizing. Good in the summer for oily skin, otherwise put on moisturizer after. It has a serum texture

Its the best step for me before retinol. I apply it after cleanser, let it dry and then apply the actives so I dont get too irritated. Doest sting, it soothes and its not sticky at all
