I've recently been battling acne that I've never had before, I believe hormones, frequent mask wearing, and a poor skincare routine are to blame. I have ordered a few new products for my skin, based on some recommendations on Picky, but I've also been looking at my current products. There is a lot of discussion on here about witch hazel being too drying for some skin types. I have oily/sensitive skin so I'm curious if it is aggravating my sensitive skin. Also these two products from Yes To have some alcohols in them, are they drying as well?

Are these too drying?

I am curious if anyone carries skincare products with them to apply throughout the day? Obviously sunscreen to reapply is a must, but as I suffer from acne I am wondering if I should carry a spot treatment for pimples that appear midday? And how do we feel about refreshing face mists?

Are there any other fellow Canadians on picky who would like to share some easy to access brands? I am currently using Elf and Yes to, and I just ordered some stuff from the ordinary. I have also been looking at some Andalou naturals stuff as future options. Any favorites?

I'm looking for some recommendations for a cleanser that has salicylic acid, and a moisturizer that has ceramides. I live in Canada, and I had my eye on some cerave products, but they are totally unavailable right now. Any suggestions?

SA cleanser and ceramide moisturizer

Nothing bad about it for my skin, but I think if you have dry skin it might leave your face feeling dry and tight.

I use this cleanser as my second cleanser when I double cleanse in the mornings. I find it very light and refreshing, it gives my skin the little pick me up it needs in the morning. My skin feels clean but not stripped. I enjoy the scent of it as well.

It does tend to leave a tiny bit of redness behind on the skin, but it does not burn and the redness fades quickly.

This toner has been the best thing for clearing up the acne on my neck and chest. I use it every evening after cleansing my face, and all the painful pimples that used to pop up on my chest have gone, as well as the blackheads have been reduced almost completely.

I do not have any complaints about this product.

This is my absolute favorite moisturizer for the evening. The gel texture is very lightweight, there is no scent. My skin feels very hydrated and refreshed after application. I also use it on my neck and chest.

Honestly, the only thing I didn&#39;t like about this was that even though it does absorb quickly into the skin, it left a fairly sticky finish, which is not my favorite. I also have not seen any long term benefits yet but I plan to finish the bottle before I give a final opinion on it.

This is the first propolis skincare product I&#39;ve ever used. It appealed to me because I thought it might help to repair my skin barrier. It is very soothing and hydrating to the skin, which is nice for people like me with inflammatory acne. I find a little goes a long way with this, you don&#39;t need to use a huge amount, otherwise it doesn&#39;t absorb into the skin properly. The texture is of thin syrup consistency. This is also unscented, which is always a bonus for me.

Nothing bad per se, however I received this late and only had about two weeks to test it so I am unsure of the long term effects it could have on my skin. I also did not see a huge calming difference in some of the redness on my face while using this product.

This is a very well formulated hydrating toner. The consistency is very watery and it absorbs very well into the skin. There is no fragrance, no sticky finish. I used this at night after cleansing my face. The products I follow with layer nicely on top of this.
