Is it okay to use vitamin c in the morning while using retinol at night? Or it be too much of active product?

Hii, I am planning to buy a retinol with 1% concentration. Do you think it is good for begineers? Also what are the do's and don't when using one? I am currently using aha once week as well as niacimide every night. My cleanser also contain salicylic acid. Hoping for some tips on how I can incorporate retinol in my routine

Tips when using retinol

Cons:

If you are planning to decrease your acne scars this one is not for. Though it contain tea tree oil which is also known for decreasing the appearance of acne scar, this one is not strong enough to really lighten that angry red spots.



Scent and Texture: This one have a hint of mint. The texture are like aloe vera but thicker consistency.

Pros: Decrease my oiliness, calm down my skin, light-weight, hydrating and affordable

 So I been using Face Republic Cica Gel with my Dermorepubliq niacinamide for 3 to 4 weeks now and with this combo my oiliness decrease drastically, I am not even kidding. Usually during mid-day the oiliness can be really seen but after using this it appear to be less oily. My acnes also calms down with this. Usually after cleansing it is red but with this moisturizer I think it defintely do its job to calm down my skin with main ingredients like centella asiatica and tea tree oil. It is light weight and did not feel heavy on my skin, (a plus if you have oily skin and did not want a greasy feeling before bed ). This also for those currently incorporating actives with this routine since this is very gentle and can sit with all of your actives. The most important thing that this one did was to hydrate my skin without being expensive which definitely a must for university student like me. 


Recommended:All skin types especially oily and acne-prone skin.

Will you buy: Since I am using actives right now like aha and niacinimide, I think this would be my staple since I need a non-irritant moisturizer that can sit with all of my actives. So definetely will buy again.




Cons: I thought it comes as color corrector as well but if you put it on the purple disappear, not really a con but expect that this is not color corrector.

Onion Newpair Sunscreen.

Pros: The product comes out purple with creamy texture, heavier than Hyaluronic but still doesn't feel heavy on skin unlike others. It blends well and last longer.



Cons: Though I am using it only for two weeks I see no changes in my skin, Since these also contain niacinamide which is my staple in skincare I quit my niacinamide serum to try these, I am bit sad because its not as effective as my serum in decreasing my oil secretion. Also maybe I am sensitive to bee venom I experience breakout while using this. So I think you should use this once or twice only because as the packaging suggest it is slightly acidic

Recommendation: Best suited for dry skin gals because it moisturize and hydrates really well.

Benton Snail Bee High Content Toner 

Smell and Texture: The toner has a watery texture and smells almost nothing 

Pros: The major benefit of it was its big size that can last up to 3 months I think because I am using it for 2 weeks now and there's still a lot of remaining product. Also the packaging is so well done like all you need to do is press the cap for toner and the essence has cap to prevent leaks.

Nothing much. Expect that all it would do would is to moisturize your skin, which obviously did a good job.

Benton Ceramide Cream 10000ppm

Main Ingredient:

Ceramide-A naturally occurring lipids on our skin  that gives water retention as it gives a barrier-like protection our skin to protect water-loss. Reflect our natural moisturizing system in the skin.

Pros: 
Despite the heavy-looking visual, the cream appears to light and easy to spread even with oily and sensitive skin like me. I don't experience any redness while using this. Plus product is big that can last me for 3 months.

Bakuchiol Serum 
Star Ingredients:
Bakuchiol-known as a retinol alternative that sits well with sensitive skin and as effective pore care serum. Used to fight pitted stubborn acne that seems to be there forever.

Niacinamide - Holy mother grail of all skincare ingredients. Brighten, pore care, oil-balancing and sits with other ingredients well.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E) - great anti-oxidant that moisturizes the skin and improves skin with sun-exposures.

Pros: Great alternative for retinol for sensitive skin like me. As I don't really see the effect of retinol but I feel like this one sits well better
