I’ve seen some people squeeze out so much product that it seems quite wasteful.  I tend to be quite conservative with how much I dispense and I always use it right after.

Sometimes I get a bit of oil cleanser in my eyes and it clouds up my vision a bit.  I hope I’m not doing any damage by leaving them in.

FYI: How to earn points

I really wanted to like this cause it was more on the pricier side for 50ml of product but after using it for a few months, I didn’t see any changes with my skin. I was hoping to see an increase in hydration or other anti-aging benefits this serum claims to have but I didn’t.

I also don’t like the smell. It does contain Bergamont oil, which is my fault for not noticing.

This K-beauty Blithe pressed serum is a hybrid between a serum and moisturizer. It comes in a  plastic jar and includes a small spatula. The serum has a thick gel texture and an interesting brown colour, almost like caramel, which comes naturally from the highly concentrated, cold pressed, Chunga Mushroom Extract. It also contains Argan and Olive Oil.

I tend to use this on days when I feel like cutting back on time and want to keep things simple. After I apply my toner, I use this to seal in the moisture. It’s pretty light weight and absorbs well.

Even though it’s called a lotion, it actually feels like a creamy sunscreen. I don’t mind it but it’s definitely not thin like a lotion. There is a slight white cast on my medium skin tone. No pilling though.

I was looking for an inexpensive sunscreen with both mineral and chemical filters and found this. It’s a lotion with SPF30 with broadspectrum protection. I like to use it on days when I want to save time on my routine.  The pump bottle is super convenient!  I haven’t experienced any sunburns with this. It’s fragrance free, suitable for sensitive skin. It also has niacinamide and panthenol.

❌ I don’t like the smell of this.  It smells like male cologne.

✅ Review:
I got a sample of this cleanser and really didn’t like it at first cause it felt very stripping during the winter.  Once summer came around and my skin became more oily, I really started to enjoy using this more.  It has a light gel texture that foams nicely and I don’t need to use a lot  to create a gentle lather.  I usually wake up with a thick layer of grease on my face and this cleanser does a good job at removing that.  It rinses easily and skin feels really clean without the squeaky feel afterwards.

It can feel a bit tacky and sting a bit. I have sensitive skin but I can avoid this by using a small amount.

I love this toner! It’s so cheap for a 240ml bottle and lasts a long time. It contains 7% glycolic acid and is the best chemical exfoliator I’ve tried.  It really helps smooth out the annoying little bumps on my face and evens out texture. It helps with fading hyperpigmentation as well. My skin feels so smooth and soft from it. It’s also fragrance free. The packaging is simple. I like the twist cap so I can control how much product comes out.

This serum is so greasy. I can’t use this during the ‘serum step’ or else my moisturizer won’t sink in. I have to treat it like a face oil.  

According to the label, the serum should be used within 3 months once opened, which is incredible short.

This serum is probably one of the cheapest retinol serums out there.  It comes in an glass amber dropper bottle and contains 0.5% Retinol in a water free solution. It also has Squalane and Jojoba seed oil.  I like that it’s fragrance free.
