What do you wish skincare brands should do or should do more often with their products?

I wish skincare brands do this...

Fragrance isn’t necessarily bad for the skin. Some people enjoy using their skincare products with their favorite scents while some people are very sensitive to fragrances. 

While it doesn’t contribute anything to the effectiveness of the product, it does add something to others’ enjoyment factor while using it. 

Fortunately, there are plenty of choices nowadays. In choosing which ones to use, always prioritize your skin and in keeping it healthy! 💗

How about you, do you prefer products that are fragrance-free or with fragrance?

In connection with @Skincarekitten’s post (title: I’m happy for you, but please stop), I hope people would make use of the search bar in the discussion area. I have been less active on Picky for the past days and I have noticed an increase of 2000+ posts. 

While others may have been useful, many of those posts are redundant and have already been posted and answered by previous users. I once posted a redundant question too but I am now using the search bar first.

You can put keywords of your concerns or inquiries. If there are no answers or clarifications found through the search, I think this is the perfect time to make a discussion for it. As much as I love this app, some people are not using its features (or maybe not aware) for its use and it affects the quality of discussions here. 

Thank you everyone! I really love this community so I am hoping that all of us will take an action in making sure that Picky will remain (and even improve) as the community that all of us love. 💕

It may not be the perfect moisturizer for night time but for my oily skin, it is enough. Also, this is not available locally so I have to order it in advance for it to arrive on time. Nonetheless, the hassle is worth it!

The best moisturizer for my oily skin! I had a hard time finding the right one but I can finally say that I found it. This feels so lightweight and sits perfectly even on a hot day. It also helps me in calming the redness of my maskne and the flakiness around my nose disappeared when I started using this. Holy grail!!! ✨💕

• For pustules, it tend to work for around two to three days for me before it becomes unnoticeable. 

• it is certainly on the expensive side of my budget scale lol. I got this product from Suisui.ph for PHP 289.00 (or around $ 6.03).
(but this purchase is worth it and I know that this cream is a great investment)

• Lower your expectations since it doesn’t really heal your pimples overnight. While it does soothes the redness, the swelling and pain are just minimized and will still take more than a day for the affected spot to heal. (it does helps in speeding up the healing process)

That’s the only negative things I can think off. I did not enjoy it at first since I did not see any results. I then realized that it was because I used it after my moisturizer. After switching up, it became effective. It did not give me any breakouts so this is my final rating.

• that this spot cream would help me with my maskne and some hormonal acnes 

• I made a post on Picky asking for the users’ tips on combating hormonal acnes. Most of them recommended the use of pimple patches and spot creams. After searching for which one to try, I then decided to purchase this one. 


𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨

• This is my first-time to use a spot cream. At first, I used it after my moisturizer. Seeing no results the next day, I started applying this before my moisturizer.

• I started seeing results the very next day. It reduced the redness as well as the swelling on the pimples in between of my eyebrows.

• While it helps with the redness and swelling, it also reduces pain by soothing it. Some pimples are mostly dried out the next day.

• It works for both papules and pustules. 


𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨

I’m happy with my first experience with a spot cream! My maskne had been lessened significantly which means it lives up to its claim (prevents recurrence). Overall, I had an incredible experience and I recommend it to those who are still searching for a spot cream.

I finished the sample and came to the conclusion that this isn’t for me because of the following reasons:

❗️ greasy (?)—I have an oily skin and even though it spreads so easily, my skin had a hard time with how heavy it felt. 

❗️ transfers to the mask

❗️ weird smell—This product is fragrance-free but it has a weird scent. (subjective)

❗️ it’s description included: + Anti-Aging Hydrating Serum but I was quite disappointed that I didn’t find it hydrating at all.

YMMV but these are my experiences with this product. ☺️

My cousin gave some samples to me and this was one of them. I’ve been using BB creams from 2017-2019 so I immediately tried this product when the pandemic started.

✨ spreads evenly—I only use my fingers in applying this and it spreads nicely.

✨ a little goes a long way—I use a separate sunscreen when I used this so I only used it mainly for color correcting. That being said, a little portion of the cream is enough.

✨ many good ingredients and attributes(can be seen in Picky’s ingredients info)

For people with sensitive skin, this real mask has alcohol and fragrance so becareful. Also, the scent is noticeable and if you don’t like the scent of honey, this may not be the variant for you. Still, there are 3 levels of hydration with a lot of variants to choose from so you  still have a lot of options. 💛

As I stated, I impulsively bought this, meaning I didn’t research enough to know that it is not exactly for people with oily skin. While I enjoyed it at night, I wasn’t able to use it in the morning because it is too heavy for my skin type. It did not feel hydrating but still does the job as a moisturizer.

I impulsively bought this when it was on sale. Compared to my past creams&#47;gels, this was indeed very nourishing and moisturizing. My skin feels smooth every morning and it also helps me with some dry patches around my nose. Others may not like that it is fragrance-free but I love this feature!
