Hey yall i have something so cool to share! this subject got brought up because i saw a vid on TT mentioning it so of course i went and did my own research 🔬  

Vitamin C and collagen are a really interesting duo when it comes to skin health. Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis (meaning your body literally needs it to properly form and stabilize collagen fibers, which helps keep skin firm, smooth, and resilient). Research has looked at this relationship both topically and orally! Vitamin C applied to the skin can support collagen production in the dermis, while dietary vitamin C helps the body produce collagen from within.

What this means:

• using vitamin C on the skin may help support your skin’s natural collagen production  (most ppl know Vitamin C to help with hyperpigmentation/brightening, though for POC with deeper skin tones it’s often not strong enough on its own to notice a difference) 

• consuming vitamin C can help your body properly build collagen when the amino acids needed to form collagen are available (like from protein or collagen supplements)

Some studies also suggest vitamin C helps protect existing collagen from breakdown caused by oxidative stress and environmental damage. Have you guys heard of this? I think it’s so interesting!

Morning y’all! So I have a question:What are your favorite hydrating products? I get a lot of gifted hydration products over the last two years and I’d have to say that my favorite is the O’Earth 7 sec Ampoule!!!!  No matter what I try no other serum has topped it. Now as far as moisturizers, I recommend iUnik’s barrier cream and Bynewcell’s 730 cream. They’re both lightweight but I’ll say the iUnik one REALLY surprised tf outta me lol I only have a sample size and im obsessed

Fav Hydrating Products?

I do wish these pads were thicker once separated into two but, theres still so much product in them that they get the job done.

I was impressed by these toner pads! I think they smell pleasant and give a type of hydrating effect that isn’t sticky. Not only can you use them for exfoliation, but you can opt out of that by seperating one into two pieces and make it a hydrating mask instead.

Personally I don’t have anything to say that’s bad about the product, I think if your prefer a thicker consistency then you should try the other one from the Abib HeartLeaf line that includes TECA. It’s calming as well.

What’s great about this essence is that it’s lightweight in addition to calming. I use it a lot because I test a surplus of products with exfoliating actives so it’s important I keep calming serums on hand!

Nothing was bad about this product. I need a full size immediately 

EXTREMELY head over heels for this cream! Okay the truth about this is I only have a sample sized jar lol the TEA about this is that im on my second month with it because one dip of my finger tip is enough for the day! I was so surprised!
