A toner surely isn't the first product a derm would reccomend to you of you were to begin your skincare journey right now, but I feel like once you try them, and you see the results, you can't go back to not using one. They've different purposes, like they can exfoliate, hydrate deeper, give you glass skin, soothe, and so on. Right now I have more toners in my collection than any other type of product. As an oily skin person, I find layering 2-3 toners, and using only sunscreen in the morning is the best morning routine I could have ever build for my self.

Do you consider toners necessary in a skincare routine?

A non foaming jelly cleanser, that contains gentle surfactants, soothing ingredients, and humectants. 

I have used this as a second cleanser in the evening, as a morning cleanser, and a few times I have double cleansed with it. The Jelly Joker is one the gentlest cleansers I have used, and by now you know I love them. We don't have to strip our moisture barriers for it to be clean, including oily skin people like me. This cleanser has a rich texture, slippery enough to make the 1 minute massage of the face feel really nice. Don't worry about the fact that it doesn't foam, it still takes off all impurities. It leaves the skin refreshed, soothed, and no tight feeling at all. It's perfect for the morning, since it's so gentle. A few times (when I've forgotten to take an oil cleanser with me on short trips), I've double cleansed with the Jelly Joker, and let me tell you it destroys mascara within a few seconds! Did I mention it's very affordable?
I absolutely love it, and totally reccomend trying for anybody.

Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep serum

Major ingredients: rice bran water, arbutin, glycerin, rice extract, arginine, jojoba esters. 

By far I have reviewed every BOJ serum and this is the last one. You can tell I love the brand! 
This is a lightweight serum (a bit thicker than the Ginseng one) that absorbs quickly into the skin. It's formulated with rice bran water as a first ingredient, which is considered "beauty water" in Korea. It's a favorite natural ingredient for me, which helps nourish and brighten the skin. It boosts the natural health of the skin barrier. Arbutin is an amazing ingredient that helps fight hyperpigmentation, and brightens the skin, and I'm so happy that the new formula has Alpha arbutin instead of arbutin in it, which is more powerful and effective. 
The serum is very effective, by providing an even skin tone and hydrated skin. It also feels amazing, and it's not sticky when applied. 
Love it!

I didn&#39;t notice any change in my skin from using this. I simply used this because I just wanted to try it, but don&#39;t know if I benefited from it. I won&#39;t repurchase.

I have enjoyed using this. It has a nice gel texture that sits nice into the skin. It doesn&#39;t make the skin more oily and goes well with other products in a routine.

Medi Peel 5Gf Bor-Tox Peptide Ampoule 
What it is: an ampoule that contains 5 types of peptides, 9 ferment complexes, collagen and elastin to target wrinkles, increase skin elasticity, and improve barrier function. 

Key ingredients:
- Copper Tripeptide-1 (10Ppb), Oligopeptide-29 (1Ppb), Acetyl Hexapeptide- 8 (5Ppb), Palmitoyl Pentapeptide- 4 (1 Ppb), Oligopeptide-32 (5Ppb)- 5 types of peptides that nourish, heal and remodel the skin. 
- Edelweiss Callus Culture Extract, lifting effect on the face and neck. 
- Lactobacillus/​Pumpkin Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/​Pomegranate Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/​Horseradish Root Ferment Extract- antioxidants, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory effect. 
- Adenosine- healing effect. 
- Allantoin, soothing.
- Arginine, an amino acid, a building block of keratin. 
- Sodium hyaluronate, Butylene glycol,  humectants. 
- Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin, emollients. 
- Yeast Ferment Filtrate, soothing. 

My experience with it: I got this ampoule 2 months ago, and I thought to myself "what a great ingredients list!", I started using it at a moment when my skin was irritated to test the soothing part. No matter what kind of irritation I have this calms it down. I can have a breakout, or my skin barrier might be in a not-so-good state from a product that isn't for me and this ampoule soothes the skin and brings it back to normal within 2-3 days. It's very hydrating! It has a milky like texture that goes well with everything basically. The hydrolyzed collagen and elastin weren't a problem for my oily skin, instead they just added to the product being even more soothing and hydrating. I have found myself reaching for this product every morning and night routine, and I'm kind of sad that I'm running out of it. 
My reccomendation: A peptide product is a must in a skincare routine, and this is a very well rounded formulation that offers way more that a typical peptide serum. It's very affordable, and I strongly suggest it. 

Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water 

What it is: an essence/ toner that delivers deep hydration. 
Key ingredients: 
80% ginseng root water, niacinamide, glycerin, adenosine, allantoin, Ginseng root extract. 

My experience with it: 
This is a very watery like essence (feels more like a toner) that contains a high percentage of ginseng root (water and extract). That means that the ingredient will be able to penetrate the skin easier. Ginseng is known to have high antioxidant and  anti-aging properties, which made me really curious about the ingredient a while ago. The Repair serum was actually the first product that I tried from BOJ (and I loved it). Since this essence is very lightweight I prefer to use it in my morning routine. It feels really nice, and goes really well with all other products in my routine. I have noticed a bright complexion even during times I haven't used any other antioxidants like vitamin C. 
I love the fact that it supports the health of the skin barrier, and I can say it's soothing my skin now that I'm on retinal.
