Hi! I really want to try some Asian skincare products but I don’t know where to start - there are too many good options!! 

I am in my late teens and have a combo skin type. I really struggle with acne, blackheads, pick scaring and post-acne dark spots 

What do you guys think would be best for me? And what are some Asian beauty products you can’t live without?

Marry, Kiss, Kill: skincare addition

Hi! So I am going away in about 2 weeks to a very hot and humid climate and I am likely going to be in the water a lot. Does anyone have any suggestions for a waterproof sunscreen? (Preferably with a high spf?)

Hi! I am really careful with what I buy and do a lot of research before buying. But I am starting to think I am buying too many products. Are there any signs you guys have that you are doing too much?

I have been looking into both the hero cosmetics and cosrx pimple patches. They seem pretty similar and I was wondering which ones do you guys prefer and the differences? 
I have tried the Hero Cosmetics dark spots one but that is the only thing I have tried.

I have been using this product for around 9
months-ish and while it does help keep
breakouts at bay, I don't really think it makes a
huge difference in my skin but my skin is very
stubborn and that might just be me.

This serum is amazing if you are in a rush to do your routine and just want to get on with it because it absorbs into the skin so fast. It has a very runny-water like consistancy and works well layered underneath a lot of products. I love to use this product in the morning. 

I have found that it also has worked well with several different skin types (I have tested it out). 

I didn’t realize for a while that this product contains some exfoliating ingredients and would use it everyday (oops) and it didnt affect my skin barrier at all - although I wouldn’t recommend trying it!

This has been my favourite moisturizer for the past 6 years! I love it so much and my skin just drinks it all up. It is very lightweight but also good for all seasons (even in Canadian winters!!). I have tried many other moisturizers but they don’t compare and I keep on finding myself coming back to this one. 

Also I am OBSESSED with the packaging and the lid (See the video) 

The two bottles in the picture may or may not be my empties from the past 8ish months that I can’t bring myself to get rid off…

 I don’t really feel like this cream was as moisturizing as it could be and I ended up finding the best way to apply this product is to layer it on top of a light moisturizer. My skin also had a hard time absorbing the product due to the consistency. I also found that there was a lot of product that was waisted because too much would spill out of the packaging at once.

Overall, I think I liked this product and will probably continue to use it. I don’t think I’ll repurchase it however.
The consistency surprised me. I was expecting a thick cream moisturizer. Instead, I was surprised with a gel-like consistency that felt like I was rubbing water into my face. It left my skin looking really fresh and dewy, which I really like.  It’s I found that it is good to use after applying a stronger ingredient such as an AHA. I also think that this cream is really great to use when your skin is feeling stripped because it does a really good job of soothing the skin. I don’t think that there is a strong difference before and after using the product although It definitely helped calm down my redness.

I don’t think it did a good job at taking off my makeup. The cleaning oil contains a lot of essential oils and that creates a smell that I found rather strong and wasn’t a fan of. I also think that I used a lot of the product in the span of 3 weeks compared to the other cleansing oils I’ve used. 
Honestly, it wasn’t my favourite  cleansing oil I’ve used but I am going to keep using it for my eyes as it didn’t make my eyes sting.

this cleansing oil was very gentle and sensitive around my eyes. It is amazing for anyone with sensitive skin and has a very watery consistency with an oily texture. 

My eyes do temporarily get a little foggy when I am using the cleaning balm to remove anything on my eyes.
I also hate the packaging and how the scooper and the plastic resting piece for the scooper get so easily dirtied with product (the picture posted is with me cleaning it this morning). I have to regularly clean it and I find it gets annoying. (For reference, my last cleansing balm was in a tube form and I really preferred that). This is a main reason for the star off.

Does an amazing job of easily getting rid of any makeup I have on (even waterproof makeup!!)
It has not broken me out at all and does not sting my eyes.
I am currently on my second bottle right now and 5 months later, I am just barely starting to hit half way through, so it is safe to say that it lasts a while!
