Hi All!

First time posting here AND my first time wearing
Trader Joe's SPF 40 Invisible Gel Formula today, (aka: The Supergoop! dupe that will run ya $9 rather than a hefty $36 for dat Goop). I've heard/ seen a TON of TJ's have been completely sold out all over recently. Fortunately- I come with good news! Anyone in the Bay Area desperate to try this sunscreen out: TJ's in Alameda, CA was fully stocked on Fri 6/30! You're welcome.


Here's my dilemma: this sunscreen feels identical to a pore blurring colorless primer cough
Maybelline's Baby Skin cough. Which is just fine by me! BUT! I am torn, and quite frankly, confused asf if I should: use a PRIMER over the TJ's Sunscreen before foundation?!? If yes to using a primer on top-then what kind of formula?!? (Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!)


NOW...If one does NOT recommend applying a primer over this sunscreen before foundation-then what type of foundation would you recommend to use that will work beautifully in combination with TJ's SPF?!? ex: silicone based foundation, water based, serum foundation, etc.)
Specifically don't want to use a foundation that will cause separation, pilling, and/or any other unpleasant effects.


Any personal experiences and/or
recommendations would be lovely and very muun appreciated.

TJ’s SPF…to prime or not to prime!?

Leaves my skin feeling extremely tight after washing and also creates the feeling of a film on my face. 

Packaging is less than desireable. Would prefer the night mask to be in a tube for sanitary reasons.

Literally the BEST makeup removing balm ever created. Literally ever. Smells so good too! The nighttime niacinamide mask makes my skin so incredibly smooth and plump. Go buy this set!

Can leave the face a tad bit tight feeling when using too much. 

Love the texture! Exfoliant is literally micro, making it extremely effective but not too harsh on the skin. Skin feels truly soft and brand new afterwards!

Expired SOOO quickly! Bottle expires 3 months from opening it. Even if I use it 2x daily at the suggested amount, I would still be left over with a TON in the bottle by the time it expires. A lot of waste!

Really adore the texture and how it can be worn AM + PM! Not too heavy, no horrible smell, doesn’t stain.
