The Search for the Perfect Pore Minimizer: What Actually Works?

-I received three complementary toners by COSRX from the Picky app. I used the AHA&#47;BHA Vitamin C Toner first because on the picky app I asked what ingredients&#47;products help most with blackheads. Many people answered BHA or Beta Hydroxy Acids (Amazing Exfoliating Compound).

-For reference my skin type is Oily&#47;Resilient and I suffer from blackheads and occasional adult acne.

-This product has FOUR ingredients good for Oily skin and all of its ingredients are low risk ingredients (Source:The Picky App)

-I used the ABC Daily toner with a total of 5 skincare products with only one other being a new product to me. I used the product twice daily (Morning and Night) for 8 days total!

-On the first day I had drastic results. The toner pulled out a lot of dirt from my blackheads that were semi close to the surface of my skin. 

-After about day three I stopped seeing the residue from the blackheads on my cotton balls and my pores seemed to be trying to go back to a normal size (I still believe I have large pores just not as large).

-All in all I give the product a 4.5&#47;5 stars. All products can use improvements and I’m not sure if introducing two new products at once may have caused it, but when I initially used it there was some irritation. Other than that the packaging is cute (See video on my TikTok @tokaioshu), the product doesn’t have an overwhelming alcohol smell like most toners do, and I appreciate how it really honed down on my skincare concern ❤️

-You can find this product for between $20-22 in the USA (Amazon and Ulta respectfully)

For my skin type it feels like since its water based that after usage you would need to either apply more to keep your skin from feeling tight and ashy, or apply another product on top to seal in the moisture. And when I’m using skincare products I prefer products that can either stand alone or do more than one thing

Very moisturizing, smells nice, love the packaging and product consistency. Absorbs well into the skin, very silky&#47;velvety texture!

Not for dry or sentitive skin so that’s a bummer, but I still love it

FOR OIL SKIN ONLY!!! This lovely products soaks up all the sebum and black head residue on my skin after I cleanse. (I struggle with black heads) but when I stick to my nightly routine this HAS to be my sexond step!

It’s good for after I wash my face, but when applied again during the day it feels like I need to sprits a lot in order to get the full effect

Its hard for me to find moisturizers that won’t just assist my oily skin and make my face feel sticky, but this formula is light and airy. I llok and feel refreshed after I finish my wash routine without feeling sticky

-All in all I give this product a 3 out of five. It’s ingredient heavy and it isn’t meant for my skin type. My face was left tackier than when I used any of the other masks.

-I received NINE sheet masks from the Abib via the Picky app. I tried this mask after my nightly Skincare routine 

-For reference my skin type is Oily&#47;Resilient and I suffer from blackheads and occasional adult acne.

-This Product has Zero ingredients to help with my skin type. According to the Picky app, it has 47 ingredients in total, 44 low risk ingredients and 3 unknown ingredients.

-I used this product in conjunction with 4 other products in my skincare routine (I didn’t use the oil I usually use to moisturize my skin). It was used before my serum and after my toner.
