Such an underrated rice-containing product. Rice, niacinamide, centella, fig, lotus flower, ulmus, amaranth seed, & ceramides. So many hydrators & soothers. I found this to be very hydrating & soothing with a touch of light moisture.

𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: This is a simple formula with a niacinamide, a few antioxidants, & a few humectants. It’s free of natural & synthetic fragrances, & potentially irritating plant extracts - making it suitable for most sensitive skin.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: It’s basically a slightly thicker version of the sunscreen I reviewed yesterday, the Roundlab birch juice moisturising sun cream. It leaves the same finish, very natural (not matte or dewy) & no white cast. And like the Roundlab sunscreen, this can definitely be used all year round for most skin types, including my very dry skin, because of the higher hydration to moisture ratio.

I used this earlier this year when it was reformulated to be made completely plant-based. Prior to that, a few of the amino acids were derived from shellfish.

There are a lot of soothing & hydrating ingredients including centella, several forms of hyaluronic acid & a ton of amino acids. The texture is a lightweight but somehow rich gel. “Conditioning” really is a great description for it. It foams up quite a bit but is incredibly gentle. My skin doesn’t feel tight or stripped afterwards & it does a good job at removing makeup, sunscreen, & residue leftover from a first, oil-based cleanse. Because this is so gentle, hydrating & doesn’t have irritating ingredients in it, it’s perfect for those with dry & sensitive skin like me. The price point isn’t bad either especially considering how much you get.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Versatility is this sunscreen’s strong suit. It’s a lightweight sun cream that hydrates & gives just a touch of moisture. Perfect for all year round. Light enough for summer but also fine for winter. It has a super smooth & silky texture, applies quite easily & quickly, dries down fast, leaves a natural finish(not dewy or matte) & leaves no white cast at all.

Gentle actives with no fragrance & great texture. What’s not to love?

Gentle actives to soothe irritation & support the moisture barrier. The texture is so silky & lightweight. Hydrating but not that moisturising which is fair considering it’s a gel cream. Amazing AM moisturiser for high humidity days.
