I have been wondering about preventative botox. I know good skincare is the best "botox" but looking to hear from people who have gone for botox. Was it worth it? How often do you need to do it?

To botox or not to botox

It is very thick and leaves a oily look so would only use this at night before bed and not for day time routine 

Absolutely love this cream for barrier repair. Sometimes I go crazy with my skin and try out a bit two many products with actives. When ever this happens and I damage my skin barrier. This is my go to cream to repair it. I usually would put some on at night with a thin layer of Vaseline over and a few days of this and my skin feels good again! 

After a few applications it does eventually start piling a bit. So reapplication does eventually become difficult.

Overall this is still a repurchase item for me based on how my makeup sets well over it and it doesn't white cast. 

it smells great, no white cast and it's not oily. Another big win is that on the first few applications it does not pile


The only thing I wish is that this was more available over the counter in the uk. I always have to online shop to find it.

I use a retinoid twice a week which we all know causes dryness, because of this, I try to incorporate good moisture ingredients on other nights. I tried this mask in 2 ways first as a night mask and then I used it as a base to slug over.

Why I love it: my skin absolutely just drank up this moisturizer. It absorbed seamlessly into my skin. I woke up with soft supple and moisturized skin.

Product finishes fast because it's such a thin liquid. It's hard to control the amount you use. 

I usually use Korean sun screen brands because I struggle to find good sunscreen with no white cast that has a non shiny finish. I recently tried this one and I love it. It has a thin light weight consistency, rubs in easily and best of all no white cast. Also easy for reapplication. 

My only drawback on this product is the price point. 

I used this for 3 months and in those 3 months I could see a huge difference in hyperpigmentation on my skin. My skin looked visibly brighter.
