Castor oil or eyelash serum?

I received a sample of the Drops of Youth a while ago, and I finally gave it a try. I used it after washing my face, and before my moisturiser. It did absolutely nothing. When I used other serums, I could feel the extra lock in moisture, adding to the benefits of the cream. Using the Drops of Youth I felt like the moisturiser wasn't even enough. 

Someone said that they only use it to reduce their oiliness, and I thought I would give it a try. I put it to the test after waking up where I'm the most shiny. It worked! For like 10 minutes; my face got extremely oily again. It's not a product that lives up to its fame, and I definitely wouldn't spend a single penny on it. I don't know whether it's not good for oily skin in general or it just didn't work for me. 

Body shop changed the name of the "Drops of Youth" to "Edelweiss Daily Serum Concentrate"  "to stand against the negative connotations associated with ageing" according to Cosmeticsdesign-asia.com. 

It's supposed to help the skin look plumped, fresh, and smooth; the concentration of Edelweiss is presumably 43% more antioxidant than retinol. 

Nothing positive to mention. 

Some people find the hemp smell irritating. Although I love it, it's definitely subtle; only in really hot days its scent is noticeable. I found no negatives for this product. 

It goes by many names; I have known it as "The Body Shop Hemp Heavy-duty Lip Care". I'm not sure whether they have changed the formulation; I bought this somewhere between 2020 to 2022.

It's an excellent lip balm. It spreads on my lips easily, despite that it seems to be quite hard, and I can use it as a base for a couple of dry lipsticks I own. I also use it at night, before sleep, if I see that my lips would need some hydration. 

If you don't like the smell of cinnamon, and cloves, this product is not for you. I found no negatives for this lotion. 

"I love cinnamon" is an understatement. This skin lotion, although it contains Moroccan argan oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, and spearmint herb oil (among others) the cinnamon and cloves are the most dominant.

It's extremely lightweight, easy to apply, doesn't leave a residue, and it won't make the skin oily. I'm actually using it as a face cream during winter.

It is rated as a good product on the Yuka app.

I had a papercut on the hand I used to apply the serum, and it stang me. It is written on its box to not apply on broken skin but I didn't realise I had a cut. No other negatives so far. 

The Niacinamide serum is expected to even my skin tone, and fade the dark spots on my face. I have included a picture where I have marked a big dark patch on my forehead, and a white-ish around my lips. It contains no fragrance, it's cruelty-free, and can be used twice a day, considering you will apply sun cream if you use it in the morning. It's best that you don't apply any serums or other treatments before Niacinamide, as it gets absorbed better on the skin.

Niacinamide (or else Nicotinamide) is a form of vitamin B3; it is found in many foods, and is required for the good function of fats and sugars in the body, and to maintain healthy cells. 

Tranexamic acid is used in medicine to help the blood clot; it may be useful for treating black spots, hyperpigmentation, and melasma.
