hey guys! newbie here but i was wondering if you guys knew about some HGs for redness-prone skin? i mentioned concerns of rosacea to my dermatologist, since it seems my whole family lives w some degree of redness, but she was very dismissive and only addressed my acne instead 😪 i don’t have any bumps sometimes associated with rosacea, but my face (especially my nose and cheeks) tend to stay some tint of red throughout the whole day. i’ve tried FAB’s redness serum, but it doesn’t seem to be doing much. any guidance is much appreciated!

expensive ($100+) and makes me uncomfortable when it comes to making my skin feel thinner; definitely wear sunscreen regularly and be extremely gentle while using this

i saw results within the first 4 weeks and i couldn’t be happier! i started off everyday (which i don’t recommend for everyone), and only moisturized afterwards; barely experienced any peeling, only slight dryness

i often have to battle with a bit of redness, especially on my cheeks. when i first applied this ampoule i was a bit disappointed bc uh, why are you not doing anything? HOWEVER, after about an hour or so, my redness was gone. now i’m not saying this is a miracle sent from heaven, but it’s close enough bc wow. i’ve tried actual redness-fighting products but none had worked quite as effectively as this one. it does leave a bit of a sticky feel to your skin when first applied, but not like a gross sticky and it goes away after a while, plus it absorbs super quick! it’s sensitive skin-friendly as it’s fragrance AND alcohol free. i’ve been using it consistently, day and night, for a week and i have to say i’m a little disappointed in myself for not having included this in my routine earlier and just using it here and there; consistency is key!!

i’ve been loving this toner so so much, it’s actually my first BHA toner ever! toning is one of my favorite steps in my routine, and i was so happy when i received this one, especially knowing it contains aloe which is pretty much the perfect summer ingredient 🥵

here are the facts:
✨ color: unfortunately it’s only the bottle that’s green, the toner itself is clear
✨ consistency: like water, but thick (which helps it absorb faster into the skin)
✨ smell: not much of a scent at all!
✨ results: except for my chin and upper lip (which are lost causes), the rest of my face has seen great improvements breakout-wise!

overall this toner was a huge hit for me! my skin loved it, and i’ve actually been using it on both my night AND morning routine.

slight greasy feel and white cast, but it does go away once fully rubbed in

i’ve gotten a lot of breakouts since the start of my vacation but thankfully, the Defense Me sunscreen helped me avoid a lot of the many dark spots i saw coming. the sunscreen has a very milky texture, making it super easy to spread, free of artificial fragrances though the sunscreen does leave a slight white cast and a bit of a greasy feel at first, but it does go away if you continue to rub it in
