Now that microplastics are being found in the human body, how do you feel about them being in your skincare products? 
I, for one, find this kind of disturbing. I used to use Aveeno skin brightening scrub for years. I loved it. But no longer. Not only are microplastics terrible for our environment, I'm sure they aren't good for our bodies either. 
I plan on boycotting any product with microplastics from now on.

I'm from the US and I religiously research the companies the I buy from to see what kind of politicians they are supporting and donating money to and what kind of laws they are lobbying to change. Doing this has been quite shocking to be honest and I've been disappointed and kind of frightened by what these companies are saying professional lobbyists to change, support and bury laws they don't support. I was just curious if anyone else does this

Do you research the companies that make your skincare products?

I've read mixed opinions on using a facial cleansing brush. Is it good for your skin or not? Currently I'm using a silicone scrubby pad thingy and my Foreo Luna but I was given a really nice cleansing brush with different attachments. The massager attachment looks nice.

I've always really liked Olay products. This retinol cream is one of my favorites. A creamy peptide and retinol night cream, it absorbs into the skin quickly, hydrates well, doesn't irritate my skin at all and there is noticable results. Olay is a great brand. 

I love Aveeno Positively Radiant Brightening Scrub. I've been using it for years and it's one of my favorite exfoliating facial cleansers. Made with soy, jojoba, and castor it gently cleanses and exfoliates leaving my skin hydrated, and felling fresh and clean. It's extremely gentle, it doesn't dry out my skin or leaving it feeling sensitive or stripped of it's natural oils. It's oil free, soap free, non comedogenic and hypoallergenic. The scrub polishes my skin, removing the top most later of dead skin cells exposing. It does contain micro plastics which is not that great for the environment and unfortunately that will keep me from using it in the future.

This is one of my favorite facial cleansers. I love CeraVe products. It foams perfectly, hydrates my skin while cleaning it, leaving my skin fresh and clean. It's gentle and doest irritate me. It's affordable and available nearly everywhere. 

This product is so amazing there is nothing wrong with it.

Drunk Elephant's Polypeptide Cream absolutely changed my skin. I had noticed it on many different websites' 'Best Of' lists and was eager to try it out for myself. 
Finding the perfect moisturizer can be difficult, it a game of trial and error. I've tried a bit of everything over the years, from cheap drugstore brands to high end luxury. I've read a lot of positive reviews so I took the plunge and ordered the Protini Polypeptide Cream.

The formula itself is more like a gel. It very light and absorbs into the skin almost instantly. Its full of wholesome, nourishing ingredients. The peptides work wonders for fine lines, helps discoloration and hyperpigmentation. I love this cream and its truly a Holy Grail of moisturizers.
