Scent is personal but I can’t get past it to continue using it on the face.

Both the toner essence (92%) & sleeping mask contain concentrated lotus callus extract, which is the main ingredient in Plodica's essential line. 

Re:wake Moist Treatmeant is a viscous, thicker than water essence type toner that is said to pack deep hydration while still being light. Targeted for dry skin. 
 
💭Thoughts: I was a bit underwhelmed with this toner as it didn't hydrate as well as I imagined. Even after multiple layers, I still felt like I was missing that deep, quenched hydration feeling that I look for in toners. 
I appreciated how quickly this sinks into the skin, making it easy to layer without feeling tacky. 

It is fragrance-free & contains no EOs, but has a faint distinct scent that I don't really like. I can't put my finger on what it smells like exactly, almost rusty--mixed with barely? Idk.. but it's enough for me to dedicate this as a body toner. It also has a slight sweet taste (I tend to press toner into my lips & then lick them halfway through my routine because I forgot 😅) from the extracts. 

It's an alright toner, I just wish it did a little more. With that, I don't think it would be 'enough' for dry & dehydrated skin types.

I wish it was easier to dispense tho with a slightly bigger opening. I do like that it controls the amount of product from using too much, or accidental spillage but can see those with dexterity issues having a hard time with it.

Price can be considered luxury skincare and be out of most consumer price range/budget.

The essence contains encapsulated resveratrol, upcycled grape seed oil, cranbetinol - retinol alt from cranberries, collagen, cica, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides.

This is a thicker essence texture with tiny pink capsules that burst as they’re massaged in. 
It has a sweet berry/grape scent that’s very faint. *While it does have the inclusion of a few EOs, this did not irritate my skin type at all but something to note for those looking to avoid it.*

It has a nice slip and spreads onto the skin leaving it feeling hydrated and plump. I tend to double up on hydration in my routines, so I use two layers at night right after cleansing. It can get a lil tacky feeling but absorbs quickly into the skin. This doesn’t last long when layering the rest of my routine. 
It hasn’t been long enough for me to see any ‘lifting’ effects but it’s a really gentle, elegant formula. Very easy to add and include into my existing routine.

I absolutely love the texture of this toner. Its very hydrating and gentle on sensitive skin, since it contains PHAs rather than AHAs - which can be more sensitizing. I use this toner about twice a week when exfoliating and my skin loves it. I’ve noticed the tiniest amount of improvement of sebaceous filaments on my nose but more time will tell.

Nothing bad about the formula. 
Suggestion: pump bottle instead of dropper bottle from how thick/viscous the formula is.

Texture: Viscous gel serum that has a slightest pink hue. Lightweight and sinks into the skin rapidly without any tackiness (but doesn’t not feel the most hydrating).

Scent: Unscented and no detection of a scent during application 

I was so intrigued by this ampoule mainly for redness and sensitivity relief. I have acne-prone skin and rosacea type 1 that affects my forehead, nose, and cheeks. I opened the bottle pretty much as soon as I got it in the mail. It could not get on my face fast enough 😂
Since then it’s been about two weeks of applying this in the morning and at night, and looking at the before & after photos (peep the last photo 👀) I can see some, albeit small, improvements to my redness. But wow, I really do think my skin looks brighter. 🫣

Nothing bad about the formula
Cap sometimes doesn’t stay on but it’s a very minor inconvenience.

Thoughts:
I’ve been really impressed with the SKIN1004 products that I’ve tried so far and this one is no exception! 
It has a soft lightweight lotion texture that absorbs quickly with minimal blending and patting. It settles down into a nice lightly glowy/natural finish with no white cast. My oily, sensitive 🍑 skin loves this and I’m sure combo, normal to dry peeps will enjoy as well (though may need to use a moisturizer beforehand)!
The formula is really on par with a lot of the newer Korean sunscreen releases and is easily on my top 5 sunscreens list! Reapplication has also been wonderful without any pilling or feeling heavy. 

The packaging is practical including a convenient pump, although at times the cap fell off in my bag when on the go, but no accidents so far. I’m really enjoying using this during these hot summer days and definitely recommend giving this a try!
