I have used Salicylic Acid 2% for two months and I didn't notice any improvements in my skin. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Salicylic acid doesn't work

Improved the overall look of my skin by clearing out most of my acne. I still have blackheads but they are less visible than before.
I think it even helped lighten some acne spots.

It has a tea trea smell and it stinged the first few times I applied it.

It has a lightweight texture that gets absorbed fast into the skin. I think it improved the overall condition of my skin by making it less oily.
Works great underneath my foundation.
Moisturizing yet not drying.

It has fragrance and sometimes it can feel a bit drying.

Leaves my skin clear and withouth that tight feeling after cleansing
