Well it’s pricey but you get what you pay for!

Has a metric ton of high quality skincare ingredients. Very moisturizing, almost waxy in finish. Dries and sets well under makeup. Incredibly, it made a vein in my face less noticeable, which is crazy because it’s been there for at least 10-15 years and I never thought an eye cream could lighten it! Shiseido is such a solid brand. You certainly get what you pay for!

The jar packaging isn’t the most sanitary and it’s kind of bulky and not travel friendly.

Smells and tastes great! Love how moisturizing this is! Great to use before bed or at the beginning of a makeup routine and use a scrubber or toothbrush to exfoliate lips after.

It’s hard to transfer to a travel friendly container, but I finally made it work. Other than that, this stuff rocks! It takes a little getting used to. The liquid feels really thin and oily. It’s actually quite moisturizing. 

I literally can’t live without this product. It’s not sexy, but it works and my skin has never been better. The last time they had a sale, I bought 6 bottles. To avoid wasted product, I don’t use cotton balls or squares to apply, I just use my hands and fingers.

It can leave your skin quite dry unless you moisturize immediately after using, which you should be doing immediately after any cleanser anyway. 

I actually like this a lot. It does help control little bumpy white and blackheads, especially after long days wearing lots of makeup. I like to use this in the shower. It does make your skin pretty squeaky clean.

Sometimes I feel like it’s not cleaning my skin that well, almost like there’s still a film on my skin. My skin still feels really dry after using so I have to make sure to follow with a moisturizer.

Like a lot of Japanese facial cleansers, this one is very easy to lather and leaves skin squeaky clean.
