I want to get my mom a few skincare items for Mother’s Day. She’s dabbled a little in Korean skincare and I think I want to get her more. She’s in her 50’s, with a few fine lines but also oily skin. She’s asked me about products for firming in the past. Suggestions? Thanks everyone!

Do you use micellar water at all in your routine? I don’t use it to take off my makeup any more, but I have a micellar water I got in a boxycharm box that I use to cleanse in the morning.

What a serum! I wanted to try this serum for the propolis but it also has vitamin C! Plus its so affordable. Propolis has wound healing and anti inflammatory properties, so it is good for my acne! Propolis is also very soothing and moisturiIng. It is a very light serum that isn’t sticky and soaks in well.

This is very comfortable and well fitting. I like the bamboo sheet and amount of essence

It works extremely well and smells great, but there is nothing special that pushes it over the edge to five stars for me.

I really enjoyed this cleansing oil. It is very light, as squalane tends to be, but is tough on makeup. I always cleanse for 60 seconds (LINK), but it only takes a few seconds to break up even the toughest eye makeup. When you first apply two to three pumps to your skin, it immediately glides over your face easily. As you keep working it into your skin, you may begin to feel small “grits” or sebum plugs gently popping out of your skin. I always experience that with this cleanser. When you’ve cleansed for 60 seconds, it washes off easily and without a film, though I always follow up with a second cleanser to be sure. 

The scent of this oil is so nice thanks to the essential oils that it includes. Some people avoid essential oils, but I find that they aren’t sensitizing to my skin. In addition to the squalane and essential oils, this cleansing oil also contains the moisturizing ingredient of oat kernel oil. Oats are beautiful for calming and gently moisturizing the skin.

This moisturizes my skin so well throughout the day and retains moisture as well. The mist is nice and fine.
