hi! i currently have 2 clogged pores, one on top of the other, on my jaw. they’ve been hanging around since about a week ago, and i’ve been using tretinoin 0.025% and The Ordinary’s salicylic acid 2% solution on it. they tend to go down for a few days, then come back up again lol? i’m not sure what to do about it since it’s not often my skin will face stubborn congestion like this as tretinoin is really helpful for getting rid of them fast. but it seems like these 2 Friends wanna come up to the surface and say hi, so should i stop using products on it? not sure what to do! thanks in advance x

i get angry, stubborn hormonal acne around my neck/jaw area only on one side of my face! they’re very stubborn as my normal pimples would go away within 1-3 days with tretinoin 0.025% or The Ordinary’s salicylic acid 2%. however, these hormonal pimples which appear around the time of the month, can hang around for 1.5-2 weeks lol. they’re red, painful, and kinda hard to the touch. thankfully they’re on the lower part of my jaw/ neck area so they can’t really be seen by others but they are quite bothersome and painful.

i’d love any advice - from products to diet (although i’m pretty sure that’s not it) to methods for controlling hormones ie. birth control pills 🥺 thanks in advance!

none at all! i think this might be holy grail status!

the texture is so nice and unique! its like a condensed milk kind of consistency lol, but not sticky. a little goes a very long way so i can forsee myself using this for a long time! it really quenches my dry skin well, and is not too greasy under makeup

i have to use 2-3 pumps to provide adequate hydration for my dry skin, but since there’s 87ml of product, it still lasts about 3-4 months with consistent use

its a very light moisturiser but it packs a punch and hydrates really well and sinks into the skin quickly. its a reliable moisturiser that you can rely on, and i love that it contains 3 types of ceramides and niacinamide! i also like the sleek thin packaging

not a fan of the scent, but i’m glad it doesn’t have added fragrance!

very moisturising and barrier-repairing! i’ve seen lots of people comparing this to Krave’s GBR - and they do serve very similar functions despite being quite different. Stratia’s liquid gold is more spreadable as it’s not so thick which i really like, but does not compromise on the moisturising aspect.

doesn’t clear up congestion and breakouts as quickly as i would like it to. take note that it has a plant-based ethanol as the last ingredient as well!

it’s really gentle for an exfoliating serum, so i would say people with sensitive skin would looove this! however, i think i’m used to stronger exfoliants like azelaic acid so this ampoule was great for maintaining and brightening, but isn’t as effective in unclogging stubborn congestion or breakouts. but i don’t fault this for that because LHA is a salicylic acid derivative, so it’s much more gentle than a traditional BHA! i also like how it contains 85% neroli flower water that has anti-inflammatory properties, as well as 5 types of hyaluronic acid. while i didn’t feel it was as hydrating as i expected it to be, it isn’t drying like other exfoliants.

this is for those who love some mild LHA (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid) and PHA (Gluconolactone) action in their cleanser! it gets all the remaining cleansing oil &#47; makeup off your face really well, and is pH balancing too. i love that it’s not too stripping yet gives me a deep cleanse, because my skin can’t tolerate salicylic acid cleansers usually, but this uses an SA derivative so it’s much more gentle! a little goes a very long way - i just need the tiniest pump to create a nice lather in my palms before applying to my face. i’ve been using this for 6 months yet i’m only at the “mild” text level on the bottle
