I’ve watched the famous skincare youtubers and they all say that even people with oily skin can use oil based cleansers, but I’m nervous my skin will feel even oilier and that it will clog my pores which tend to get clogged by comedogenic productss.

Should people with oily skin use oil-based cleansers?

My skin gets extremely oily in warm weather and it’s been showing in my zoom calls. Are there products that are good for your skin and instantly mattify that I can apply before my video calls?

With so many companies now carrying variations of pimple patches, it’s hard to know which ones are the best. I’ve used cosrx ones and like them, but they can get expensive. Which company do you prefer for pimple patch and is it worth the splurge for higher quality patches?

The lotion does smell like sunscreen. So, if the scent bothers you, that would be an issue. Additionally the price is pretty steap for such a small bottle.

I have substantially oily skin and that’s prone to acne. When I got into skincare, I knew that I needed to find sunscreen that I’d actually be willing to use. The sunscreen is so thin that the whitecast is easy to rub-in. The skincare benefits have smoothed out my skin as well. I attribute the smoothing to the ceramides. The lotion is also mattifying so I don’t get that classic sunscreen shine. Makeup layers well on top of the light moisturizer and I haven’t experienced any pilling.

The facewash isnt strong enough if you have actuve acne as it doesn’t reduce the size or irritation of larger pimples. 

The facewash has salacylic acid in it so it does a good job with my oily skin and reducing the common shine on my face. The foam is a pleasent experience and prevents me from using too much at a time.

What you see is what you get, there’s no cute or fun product additives to the cream.

I think its important to start with the price for this product. I buy it for 11$, a third of what comprable eye creams sell for. Second, lets talk about the ingreidenys. Powerful plumping ingredients make this small eyecream effective and worth buying seperately from a normal cerave lotion. Niacinmide is the second or third ingredient if I rememvee correctly. The cream melts into your skin and it spreads nicely over fine undereye wrinkles. Sometimes I’ll even use it as a spot treatment for dry patches if I over exfoliated.

The smell reminds of middle school, and not in a good way. Its medicinal smelling. Unforntely, the face wash didnt prevent future breakoits. Also, it can be stripping. I have oily skin so that wasnt my main concern.

This face wash is proof that salacylic acid in face wash is no new invention. When my acne was at its worse a few years ago I returned to the skincare basics and retested this fave wash. The face wash does resuce the size of pimples if used regularly and its quite affordable.

There arent strong actives in the face wash for acne prevention or for pore deep cleansing. Therefore, it doesnt make the cut when my face has acne and needs a facewash with a stronger cleansinh ability.

I bought this gel cleanser for 3 dollars from five below. It’s the mini size, but I imagine it’ll last for several monthes. I really like the feel if the gel cleanser as it glides on your face it foams up and makes you feel like your whole face is getting cleansed. The HA does a great job moisturizing your face and there’s no stripping sensation.
