This is not a bad product, but I personally stopped using this product because my skin just doesn’t like vitamin c in general. Vitamin c irritates and makes me break out. Hope they come out with another serum with TXA, but without vitamin c. 

I love the texture and consistency of this product. It’s like a gel and it absorbs really well to the skin without leaving it sticky. I also love the design because it has a pump to it and it’s not in a clear serum bottle. This means that the vitamin c won’t oxidize as quickly. This is also great for anyone who wants to start using vitamin c because it’s not on the harsher side. It also contains TXA, which is wonderful for dark spots.

I would be careful for anyone with a damaged barrier or sensitive skin. It did end up breaking me out a little because I was using tretinoin at the same time, which meant that my skin barrier couldn’t really handle both at the same time.

I tested the VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 on one side of my face for around a whole week, once every night. I was also using prescribed tretinoin at the same time because I was interested in how they might work together. The product has a gel cream sort of texture and it does absorb easily into the skin. I noticed that it made my skin smoother than the side that I didn’t apply it on, but I didn’t see any other results during that time. I think I would have to try this product for a few more weeks to see if it could help with other skin concerns like dark spots. Overall, I think it’s a good product for someone who is trying to get rid of texture on their skin. I was a little scared to apply it at first, but the 100 version actually wasn’t bad. It can be a bit prickly for a few minutes after application, but afterwards, you don’t feel anything at all. I still recommend being gentle when applying your other products afterwards.

There’s nothing bad I can say about this product.

I love that this ampoule has only one ingredient: centella. It’s super lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, which makes it really nice for AM use. I find it hydrating and soothing for my oily, acne prone skin. It has helped me to repair my damaged skin barrier. It even helped to reduce the appearance of the pores by my inner cheek because my skin was so dehydrated at the time. It has become one of my favorite products.

I wish the pads were a bit thinner. It felt a little rough to use the exfoliating side as someone with acne. It does sting a tiny bit sometimes.

This contains PHA, which is a gentle exfoliator and it has helped to reduce the stubborn bumps on my forehead. It makes my skin look more glowy afterwards. I also like that it contains heartleaf, which helps soothe the skin at the same time. I prefer to use it as a mask for 5 minutes because I feel like it has a bigger effect that way.

My skin is a bit dehydrated so double cleansing can sometimes strip my skin.

I was skeptical of using oil-based cleansers before this because I have oily, acne-prone skin, but I actually really enjoy using this. It has helped me remove dead skin and sebaceous filaments. It leaves my skin feeling smoother. I like that it’s really light and almost watery and doesn’t leave a residue after washing it off. It also doesn’t break me out and sometimes helps reduce the redness of my skin.
